A wonderful familiar guesthouse in a very idyllic landscape. The owner was really friendly, they speak english. He explained us the way to the gorge. The food was excellent, the vegetables were from the owners garden. We got some fruits for dessert. If you want to feel at home, come to this place. We has a really nice stay. Thank you for everything.

very pleasant stay at Tibet Guesthouse. Beautiful views and the Landlady Zhuo Ma and niece Lamu are extremely friendly and always cheerful. We had a very relaxing time except when we decided to walk downhill to the river... such a challenge but we made it! We sincerely recommend Tibet house... and the food was also great. Thank you Zhuo Ma.

Had a fantastic stay! Clean room, gorgeous views and delicious home cooked meals. Owner is sincere and friendly. He readily arranged transport for us to the Tiger Leaping Gorge including getting the tickets, and sending us to Shangrila. Exceeded our expectations. Strongly recommended!

This guesthouse is family run. Very good hospitality. Mother would offer fruits. Son does the driving, cooking and bookings . The map helps to plan places of interest to visit. Free transport from Tina's Guesthouse which is at Zhong Hu Xia (Middle Gorge). Email to the guesthouse and they will provide WeChat number to contact.

A really lovely guesthouse a bit further down than many of the other main / famous ones. A beautiful balcony overlooking the gorge and some very fine food too. Would definitely recommend

Hosts are very warm. I had booked a small room but, got upgraded to a very nice larger room. They speak a little English. I hiked from the starting point of upper trail for 16 km up to Tina’s GH and got picked up by them from there. It’s a 3 min drive to the guest house. Next morning, took the trail to the lower gorge and was back by noon. They dropped me to the bus station.

The Inn is very near the gate, easily found and near the square market, the location was very strategic, the owner was also very helpful and he suggested me to the Halal food nearest the town, and also can book a day trip to Balagezong with them. The room is very clean and big, has an electric blanket and portable heater, but not a heated floor. you can see the town from the inn and also can stargazing at the second floor.

Everything during our stay at this guesthouse was great! The family that runs the place is super nice and attentive. The food they prepare is amazing! The location is also top, we walked here from the Tea-horse guesthouse (it took us around 5hrs), we also walked down to the gorge directly from the house and we absolutely loved it, we were alone the whole way. The way down is a bit steep but well worth it! Would recommend 100%!

These people are amazing, mother zhouma son dawa and all other workers. We had such an amazing experience, they picked us up from Tina after we finished our 1 day hike from tea horse guest house to Tina. Sadly we were just staying here for 1 night. We had the best of the best food here, 100% better than half way guest house where we stopped for lunch. And the views from rooms here is hard to believe and must be experienced in reality. There is a cute dog khala in property which kept my son truly amazed during all our time. Dawa also dropped us back to Tina to catch our bus to shangrila. Last day they were also going to a nearby village for pig slaughter ceremony and they kindly invited us but sadly we had to leave for our next destination. We should definitely come here again in our lifetime. Thank you so much.

Host was amazing, very friendly and helped us with our concern for transport back to Lijiang the next day. Uncle made sure we safely board the minivan & even took picture of the car plate before leaving as we are 2 girls traveling on our own 🥹 No words can describe the view, and cameras never do justice as well. Best section of our trip to Yunnan!

A ******* style accommodation run by a small Tibet family. They can speak English very well and easy to communicate. They provide free transport from Gina to the hotel (where bus usually stop). The son, Tawa help to pickup us at the upper tiger leaping gorge scenic area and offer a brief stop at one of the view deck oversee the gorge. The owner even send us some fruits taken from her garden. We were very touched by the gesture. We satisfied with all the services and amenities provided but little bit disappointed as we requested for corner room but got middle one instead. My sister stayed at the corner room before. So we really look forward for that. The view from our room is amazing. Very stunning! Every room got their own balcony but it’s too cold to go outside. Lamp didn’t function as well or maybe we can’t find the switch 😅 We were provided with simple breakfast before Tawa send us to Halfway Guest House. Baba bread is my favourite while my husband really love the sweet potatoes. Thank you so much. We enjoyed our stay here.

We loved our stay here. The owners were very nice, the food was great, and the views were amazing. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

The staff were very kind to pick us up and drop us off at Tina’s Guesthouse after we finished hiking the upper trail. Facilities were nice, view was good, and the food was good. The owner lady was very sweet and easy to talk to. We walked down to the river from the guesthouse. It was a bit strenuous and a bit hard to find the trail, but we managed and it was worth it! I would stay here again when in TLG.
