Qifengshan Homestay

Stayed for a night for the 2d1n hike from naxi-halfway-teacher zhangs. The route after teacher zhang where you descend down closer to the river is closed unfortunately. :) Spacious room Appreciated the heater in toilet Quite welcoming, provide tea, nuts and fruits when arrive Provides pick up and drop off near halfway guesthouse Cute wild cat, but might scratch :/ Bedding have cigarette smell View from room not as nice as halfway / judys / cloud viewing platform I booked here wanting a quiet, less crowded experience but balcony can be viewed from courtyard, no privacy :( No dry and wet toilet seperation Due to government works, no electricity (wifi, lights, hot water) on my checkin day for a few hours. Other accoms near the area was also affected.

Lovely homestay just a short distance off the main hiking route. Very peaceful setting with a beautiful view. The room was comfortable and clean. A nice restaurant on site with a good selection of Chinese meals, allowing one to sit back and relax after a day's hike without having to venture off in search of food. Both the hostess and her mother-in-law were very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

It has been a dream of ours to come and see Tiger Leaping Gorge and it did not disappoint, truly a wonder of the world. We spent some time researching our accomodation and it was beyond our expection, our homestay was a mix of culture, traditional architecture and modern utilities. The hospitality was wonderful, every request was met, the food excellent, sourced from the owner's own garden and the view from our second floor balcony was like watching the most picturesque mountain scene on an 8K Imax screen every minute of our stay. Moreover, the owner is very accomodating, picking us up from our drop off point, free apples and nashi pears from their gardens and she is a magnificent cook, not a bad meal in our three night stay.

The owners were beyond friendly, plucking apples from their tree for us to take back. It’s amazing luxury for a hiking experience and the views and food were amazing as well. But what really impressed upon us was their hospitality. Please visit them they really do deserve more visitors. And they have a kitten:)

By far the best accommodation of my trip. The room was very large, perfectly clean, and equipped with all amenities. The mattress was very comfortable. The view of the mountains from the floor-to-ceiling window and from my own private balcony was magnificent. Dinner was very, very tasty and prepared with produce from the own garden. But the best thing were the very friendly and helpful hosts. I felt very comfortable. A perfect stay.

Very friendly and nice Guesthouse. We loved our room with the balcony. The View from there was amazing. And we had some really delicious food, translated to Something Like "Naxi grilled meat".
