Shangri-La Xinjiuyi Homestay

The owner is so nice and enthusiastic! She picked us up at the station and quick at response to any questions. The room is big and clean. The bed is confortable. All amentities are readily available. It’s not far from the old town, around 10 mins walk. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

I enjoyed my stay at this guest house. It is just on the edge of the ancient town with a small supermarket directly across the street where you may buy snacks, fruit, beverages, etc. There are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. Taxis and DiDi may also pick up/drop off directly in front of the building. I used translation apps + WeChat to communicate with the family who owns the guest house as I don't speak Mandarin. They were very kind to pick me up at the train station, assist with doing some laundry and answering any questions I had about the area. I'd recommend this property to anyone traveling to Shangri-la.

The hosts were the most hospitable people. They picked us up from the train station when we arrived in Shangri-la and offered to help us with our heavy luggages. The stay was near to the ancient town and it was convenient to Didi from the place as well. We are very grateful for the snacks, fruits and tea offered to us through our stay - they even offered a goodnight milk every night 🤩 The room we stayed in was really spacious and clean even after opening up both our huge luggages. The bed mattress were of quality and our sleep was very pleasant every night. Hosts were always ready to offer their help in terms of itineraries and our stay. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone coming to Shangri-la! 民宿主人非常热情好客，有关行程或住宿方面的问题，他们都能提供帮助。当我们到达香格里拉时，他们从火车站接我们，并主动帮我们提大件行李。床垫质量很好，我们每晚都睡得很舒服。住宿地点靠近古镇，从这个地方搭滴滴也很方便，我们住的房间也非常宽敞干净。非常感谢在我们做客期间提供给我们的零食、水果和茶——他们每天晚上还会给客人送晚安牛奶🤩，非常建议来香格里拉的人都来这儿住！

老闆娘特別好，很熱情，給我升級了三樓的星空房，裏面設施也很好，衞生間乾濕分離的，貼心的準備好了所有一次性用品，一次性馬桶墊，泡澡袋，一次性洗臉巾，晚安牛奶也會在晚上八九點左右送上來，總之是一次非常愉快的住宿體驗！
