Shangri-La Yunbian View Homestay

This hotel is excellent. The host was very friendly and helpful with our requests, and gave us nice little farewell present which my kid loves so much. It is located inside the ancient town, so be mindful cars can't go in therefore a little inconvenient if you have large luggages. But it is not a big problem as the host can pick you up and drop off at the ancient town gate, you just need to call on arrival. The beautiful view of the Giant Prayer Wheel and Guishan Park from hotel room and roof top made up for everything.

The hotel owners are very helpful. Also, there is a luggage pick up from then old town entrance gate to the hotel.

location to temple with golden drum and square alley for group dance (7pm to 9pm) is very near. The hotel is sited at a higher ground compare to other hotel, there for the rooftop have unblock view of the temple with golden drum.

Beautiful location located right in the heart of the ancient city, great staff that are friendly and eager to help at every step and a beautiful room. Rooms are spacious, clean, quiet and had a beautiful view of the temple. Would recommend to anyone coming to Shangri-la

"We're from Thailand, and this hotel is superb! The rooms are clean, warm, and cozy, with floor and bedroom heating—perfect for the cold weather. The toilet even has an auto bidet (very important for us Thais!). Though the hotel is on high ground and the stairs might make you a bit tired, the effort is totally worth it. The owner is incredibly kind, offering unlimited drinking water and fresh fruit. The rooftop has the best view—beautiful scenery where you can relax and enjoy the moment. PS: I hired a private taxi driver for our trip, and he was friendly and extremely helpful—giving us the best advice for: Cheap but delicious local restaurants Affordable tribal dress rentals Half-price tour tickets for young adults (we never knew about this before!).
