This Napahai B&B offers an unbeatable view that makes its secluded location a small trade-off. The scenery is breathtaking. Our host was incredibly friendly, arranging free transfers from Shangri-La old town and to the train station. He even negotiated a good deal on horse riding fees 😉. Breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant served great food. Evening entertainment included singing, dancing, and fireworks! Minor wear on the room was barely noticeable. Overall, a 10/10 stay.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The staff and the owner were incredibly warm and welcoming. It truly makes you feel like being treated as a family. They even organized singing sessions and fireworks to keep us entertained during the night. Plus, complimentary transfers to and from the airport were a great bonus! Overall, it was an excellent experience. I’ll definitely return the next time I visit Shangri-La. We planned our trip to Yunnan quite last minute and luckily managed to book this B&B — and honestly, it exceeded all my expectations! The hosts were so nice, helpful, and friendly, treating us more like family than guests. They even picked us up from the train station and dropped us off, which made everything so convenient. We also had dinner at their restaurant — the food was pretty good too! The highlight was definitely the view from our room: a stunning, scenic view of Napahai that I’ll never forget. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shangri-La. Hopefully, we’ll get the chance to come back in the future!

Best hotel ever! It was so quiet that you could barely hear any noise at all at night ! Not even bug noise or animal noise! The room view was spectacular ! You could literally see sunrise on your window ! Super spacious and comfortable bed, oxygen supply was installed within the room, so no worries for lack of oxygen in high elevation . Only cons for the hotel was the water pressure was low a bit and location was far from town. Kinda difficult to get didi taxi during night time.

A Wonderful Stay in Shangri-La! We had an amazing 3D2N stay at this lovely guesthouse. The host was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful – always ready to assist and made our trip so much smoother. The room was clean, cozy, and had a beautiful view of the surrounding area. One of the highlights was the free pick-up and drop-off at the train station, which was super convenient and thoughtful. We truly felt at home here. Highly recommended, especially for travellers from Malaysia – you’ll feel warmly welcomed and well taken care of.

Amazing experience at this hotel! Loved the view, very warm welcome and so gentle staff! The small village is truly authentic and we’ve been enjoying the mountains despite a mitigated weather. Would recommend it 1000 times!

Malaysian citizens please come to this hotel. The hotel have such magnificent views and breathtaking. The hotel staff so friendly. I don’t know her name but surely she so kind, she drive us to railway station, welcoming us, took our bags to the room and help us with laundry. When we have problem that our bag locked and the key lost, she give us the tool to help us open our bag. The best hotel, the room spacious and feels like I’m in the cinema with the bathtub and comfortable bed.

Hands down the most beautiful room and scenery I have ever been in, not even accounting for the price I paid, which was THE MOST WORTH IT ever in my opinion. The owners and staffs were incredibly helpful and kind, they even offered me room upgrades when I told them pre-checking in that my friends were unwell. Everything they offer, whether be service, environment, sceneries, and amenities were top notch. I would definitely be coming back again! Thank you!

I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible Airbnb, and it exceeded all expectations! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with panoramic views of the mountains. The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. They were so attentive, offering helpful tips about the area and making sure I had everything I needed. I felt like a valued guest throughout my stay. This hotel is absolutely stunning. I was lucky enough to stay on a day when it snowed, so the view outside was just as beautiful as the pictures the hotel uses in their ads. The two staff members I interacted with were fantastic—cheerful and very kind. My room was spacious and lovely, with views of the lake and mountains through glass walls on both sides. The room's amenities were top-notch. The food at the hotel's restaurant was delicious, and so was the coffee. Before I left, the staff kindly gave me some tea as a souvenir. I was really impressed with this hotel and, if I get the chance, I would definitely stay here again.

This place is definitely one of my best stays! Amazing view, super friendly and helpful host, great room and the smart toilet even come with a built in bidet (somewhat rare in China). We extended our stay as we really liked the place! The host offered to pick us up and send us back to the railway station for free. Communication is easy via Wechat. She even offered us breakfast throughout our stay (corns milk since the rest of the food is not halal). The place is around 20 mins from Dukezong Ancient Town and railway station, but didi is available. This place is really suitable for those looking to relax while enjoying amazing view overlooking hills, and the famous Napahai Lake. It was our luck that we came here when it was snowy, but this place is beautiful even during other season.
