I recently stayed at your hotel for four nights and had a wonderful experience. I particularly enjoyed reading the book provided in the room, Founder's Note. It was incredibly insightful and added a personal touch to my stay. Additionally, the hotel's location near the exhibition hall was very convenient and made my trip even more pleasant. Thank you for the great experience, and I look forward to staying with you again in the future.

To find the reception is bit tricky. You need to use lifts with really dirty carpets with Intercity logo. Check in process was ok and then next lift to the rooms with the same very dirty carpets (I am asking myself, why designers are using carpets in the areas where it is difficult to maintain them). Although I got non-smoking room there was smell of cigarettes in the room. Room was changed by reception team pretty quick and next room was not so smelly. I have used as well washing machine , drying and ironing which was ok (note one machine is manageable only by app, so in case you do not speak Chinese, you will be lost as me.

Good location, clean and modern hotel, very close to the airport maglev station (10 minutes walk) and metro station (few minutes). Convenient for a short time, 35-40 minutes total to the airport.

All good except you can’t control the Aircon so it gets hot sometimes

Walking distance to the Shanghai New Exhibition area. No English-speaking staff even during the international exhibitions. OK, but less than average Chinese breakfast

We were also delighted to be allowed early check-in, which made our arrival much more convenient after a long journey. The thoughtful service really made us feel valued right from the start. As members, we enjoyed a discount on breakfast, which was a wonderful bonus. The breakfast spread was delicious with a variety of options, and we truly appreciated starting our day with such a hearty meal. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, providing the perfect retreat after a busy day of exploring. The hotel’s location is ideal, being close to key attractions, public transportation, and especially the SNIEC W1 Exhibition Hall, making it an excellent choice for business travelers. Overall, we highly recommend IntercityHotel Shanghai to anyone looking for excellent service, great value, and a comfortable stay in the heart of the city. We’ll definitely be returning on our next visit!

Good rooms and great location for the New Shanghai Expo centre. Only downside was the elevators were a bit slow sometimes.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at IntercityHotel Shanghai, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel itself was nice, with modern amenities and friendly staff. However, there was one significant drawback that affected my stay. The walls in the hotel seemed to be paper-thin, which meant that I could hear every sound coming from the neighboring rooms. Whether it was the flushing of a toilet or someone taking a shower, the lack of soundproofing was quite noticeable. This resulted in a lack of privacy and disrupted my sleep at times. Despite this issue, I must commend the hotel on its cleanliness and comfortable rooms. The location was also convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. In conclusion, while IntercityHotel Shanghai offers a pleasant stay with its nice facilities and friendly staff, the thin walls can be a significant inconvenience for those seeking a peaceful and quiet environment. If noise sensitivity is a concern for you, it may be worth considering other accommodation options

Perfect location near the expo center. Five minute walk to maglev and trains to the airport and city center. Above a mall with restaurants and cafes. Staff was helpful and courteous. Room was clean and well maintained.

Perfectly located between Maglev station and Expo site entrance. Couldn't be any better.

The Intercity is a great hotel. Very close to the trade show I was attending.

Value for money and very near to metro station. Next to it , there is a mall as well.

Nice new hotel quite near Longyang metro station and Maglev. Rooms are clean with big wndow. We've been staying there for one night and didn't have breakfest but people say there is a good meal. The hotel provides a shuttle bus to the New Expo Center, Disneyland and metro station. Metro is near but you had to go about 7 minutes to the nearest crossing (with stairs and elevator, not on the road) , go upstairs and than a couple of minutes return back by other side of the street. It's quite difficult if you have heavy suitcases. Unfortunately the staff doesn't speak English and can only use the special device for translation. It takes additional time. All other is perfect.
