Amazing experience at this hotel! - Clean and well-stocked room - Friendly and helpful staff, the cleaners especially are lovely people! - 24/7 security present in the lobby, who are also very nice! - A very adorable and cute hotel cat. who. greets everyone I would only like to mention that for foreigners, the bed might be a bit hard. But for the rest it's an amazing place!

The only downside was the mattress, really hard one, it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. I’d not go back there to sleep in a hard mattress like that one. Before booking ask about the mattress.

Hello, the check in process was so long, I arrived at the reception around 11PM, and only can speak to the manager though the phone also didn’t got my room key so it was bit inconvenient tbh.

The best thing about this trip was staying at baseLITE LongHua! Cozy 9/10 Clean 9/10 Service 9/10 Location 8/10 I would definitely stay at baseLITE again on my next trip to Shanghai. Recommended.

We had a pleasant stay at Baselite. The location is decent - there's no metro station very close, but there are 3 lines within 15 minutes. Check-in was a little tough with the language barrier, including lots of inspection and photos of visas that have nothing to do with China. There's an adequately-equipped gym, a yoga room that was hardly ever in use, and a shared kitchen where some of the longer-term residents seem to hang out. Each room also has a kitchen, but we were given no kitchen supplies whatsoever at the beginning - not even a cup or a set of chopsticks. Everything was clean and functional though. Can recommend.

It was a great stay and good value - will consider if coming back to Shanghai

Our actual first stay in China- and we’re happy for it. Super helpful, easy to reach, good location to venture out from, quick food and some small shops nearby, it’s all you need. It’s also a nice looking place, which is a bonus.

Perfect for long stays as it’s a fully functional apartment. I stayed for 20 days, and definitely will stay again. They have a cute cat as well called Little Lobster hahah

We are very happy with our stay in this place! The rooms are very clean and new, hot shower and clean bathroom, the shared areas are really nice and convenient: it has kitchen, gym, yoga room, study/meeting room, washing machines and dryers! The staff is very friendly and helpful!! The 阿姨’s are really nice and have good manners too. The location is quite close to subway and the area is clean and quiet. There is also a supermarket at the first floor, local noodles restaurant and local breakfast place.

Stayed at Base upon my return to Shanghai for work. I highly recommend it for all types of travelers. It has the amenities of a hotel (cleaning, towels, gym etc.) but additional comforts like in room toaster, fridge, stovetop, washer/dryer. All of the staff were extremely helpful and kind. The cat in the lobby is adorable and it is walking distance to main metro lines, local grocery stores, and convenient shops. If you are new to the city or just there for a few weeks, it is a great option and cheaper than most hotels in the area.

Normally I don't write reviews but I really enjoyed my time staying here. I was following a Chinese language course at Shanghai Jiaotong University at the Xuhui Campus. BaseLITE Longhua is located close to two metro stations, expecially Shanghai Swimming Center Line 11 takes you to Shanghai Jiaotong University in a few stops only. I would recommend to take one of the rental bikes you can find anywhere because walking could take a bit longer. The studio had everything that I needed like a desk, large bathroom, towels, closet and fridge. It even had a washing machine which was ideal for me because I was staying for a few weeks. I would recommend cleaning the door seal of the washing machine because it had a lot of dust. However, the staff is very friendly and when my shower drain was a bit clogged in the beginning, or when I need new bed sheets, I could easily reach out on WeChat where the staff helped me. The room looked very new and I felt very comfortable. Also ordering food or stuff online on Taobao was convenient. The hotel itself also has a small fitness room and large common are and kitchen where you can heat up and eat your food. The location is close to a few convenience/ grocery stores but for the rest it's very quiet, which is a contrast to the busy city. However, with Didi and metro it is easy to go anywhere.
