We stayed here for 4 nights and booked the family suite since there’s 3 of us. The room is very spacious, enough to fit all our luggages and shopping things. Toilet and shower are separated and very clean. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again if coming to Shanghai. Location near to metro station and surrounded by nice bars.

Nice hotel stay here, free popcorn, free laundry, nice movie, free coffee...and must try the next door Chinese BBQ!!

Nice to see movie themed hotel and it’s close to the nightlife FOUND 158 so you wouldn’t have to take a taxi to your hotel and easy to walk back tipsy

So lucky found this hotel. Location only 10 minutes walking to famous shopping street in Shanghai. METRO STATION only 5 minutes walk. Water & popcorn FREE (so happy with this one). And the room really big and so comfortable l. I love everything about this hotel.

Hotel and room with basic amenities but featured a great selection of movies with projection.

I stayed at Mo Yu Movie Hotel near Shanghai People’s Square and Nanjing West Road Subway Station, and the location was excellent. It’s just a short walk to the subway, making it super convenient for getting around the city. The room was spacious and had a unique movie-themed decor, which was a nice touch. However, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room, which might not be ideal for families or those sensitive to smoke. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re looking for convenience and don’t mind the smoke.

Overall the stay is comfortable and the hotel is nice although it's hotel lobby is small. The location is suitable for me as it is quiet, just right beside the hotel had 2-3 restaurant. Around 10mins walk to the nearest metro station. We will visit the hotel again if we go to Shanghai.

Had a very interesting and enjoyable 4D3N stay. Check in was smooth and hotel was able to receive parcels for us and the collection of the parcels from the staff were a breeze. The movie themed hotel was also very eye opening for us as it was our first time staying here. The hotel lobby was decorated like a movie box office. There were also soft drinks and popcorn available free flow. The coffee machine and tea at the entrance of the hotel was also very thoughful. Drinking the coffee warmed our hearts during the cold weather. The hotel was also well located with eateries nearby and just a 5min walk to the main hipster huai hai road for shopping. The room was spacious and clean. There are also additional amenities that you can take at the hotel lobby. We also had fun playing with the different lighting in the room and the big projector screen really makes the room feels like you're in a movie theatre. The glass panels on the toilet and shower area however is a little translucent. It would be better if they could make it more opaque for privacy. Overall, we had a great stay here and will definitely come back again.
