The location is great, just a few steps from the main walking street. It’s not too far, but not too close to the metro line. The room has an old-fashioned style. The air conditioning is sometimes cold, but other days it’s not cold enough.

We book the room for 3 person, but they only give us 3 towel, 2 bottle water. We ask for more water and the staff ( man ) said only 2 bottle a day,this staff ( man ) not friendly.

Superb location. Walk down and it is already the walking street. Tourist bus is just right at the entrance.

My stay at Seventh Heaven Hotel was highly disappointing though the location is great. The condition of the rooms was far from satisfactory, with dirty floors, windows, and bathrooms that left much to be desired. To make matters worse, the AC in the room failed to provide any heating during the winter, leaving me uncomfortable and cold. However, I must acknowledge that after several complaints, the hotel staff did eventually change my room. Despite this, the overall experience was marred by the initial issues and the staff's lack of politeness at the reception. In the end, I decided to check out and move to a nearby hotel for a more pleasant stay. I cannot recommend Seventh Heaven Hotel based on my experience.

Nice location.Ring on the Nanjing walking street.Check in and check out was easy.Gave me early check in with out asking.Arranged a taxt to PVG T2 in the early morning which was easy me.Room was small and had to window which had a view of the walking street.Room size is ok for solo travellers.Good small bathroom.700 meters walk to the bund and the view of the bund is amazing.

Built in 1932 by a pair of entrepreneurial brothers, Guo Le and Guo Quan, the 19 story hotel was once the highest building in the city and housed one of the most luxurious ballrooms in Shanghai. Today neither building nor hotel occupy quite such a lofty position in Shanghai society but the hotel's 59 guestrooms are tastefully decorated with a nod to its heyday in the form of vintage style lamps and Art Deco inspired flourishes. Combined with its excellent location and reasonable prices, this is a great value option with a touch of old Shanghai.
The grand ballroom has been converted into a restaurant called Old Shanghai serving contemporary Chinese cuisine using seasonal ingredients.
Recreational facilities include a beauty salon. For the business traveler there is a business center offering fax, internet access and ticket reservation services. A well-equipped function room is available for meetings, conference and other events.
On the hotel's top floor, guests can enjoy views of bustling Nanjing Road pedestrian street.
