Ji Hotel (Shanghai People's Square Fujian Middle Road)

Location is pretty good, very near to tourist places. Other than location, I don’t think this hotel deserve any rating. 1. When I come in the room, there was obvious stain seen from the table 2. Not all the lights in the room function well. The hotel facility is not well maintained 3. This hotel is sharing the building with other hotel, where I don’t think the security is good enough as stranger can follow you to your floor 4. The sound proofing is very bad, you can’t sleep throughout the night as you can easily hear any sound you can think of 5. When I check-out the room, I was told by the front desk that my room key was not register under my name 6. You can use their laundry service only if you have a local phone number to register for. though the front desk staff is very nice and offer help to use her WeChat to help me for laundry, but it is too troublesome to get them at counter every time Overall, staying with this hotel is really my nightmare in Shanghai.

It was a hotel located at a location which I feel is good for people who are there for shopping and food. There is a family mart opposite the hotel which I believe operates 24/7. Please note to all people who want to travel as friend and wanna stay in together, the toliet has door which is transparent, it would mean others would see you from outside, if you don't mind, you can book this hotel. Oh ya, the pillows need to change, too flat.

Everything is just so nice and great Location nearby metro station. Comfortable and cozy stay.

Big TV, cozy room, toilet equipped with warm bidet and comes with slippers. Lots of tea bags as well. Availability of laundry room is a plus point! Very satisfied with the hotel service, they provided goodie bag on the last day when asked and also provided lots of toiletries essential when requested. Best thing is when ordering delivery, you do not need to step out of the room as there is a cute robot that will deliver for you! Just have to request for the hotel’s phone line when ordering delivery on Mei Tuan and input your details if you do not have a china phone number. Point to take note is that not all the room will have fridge, only certain room types have. But this is not an issue as there is a family mart convenience store that is located right opposite the hotel, super convenient to grab snacks/drinks. Overall super satisfying stay! Will recommend to stay in this hotel if going shanghai.

We were so lucky to meet the manager on the second day morning which was typhoon day, we were unable to step out from the hotel to buy breakfast. And she asked the chef to get us some porridge and fruits as our breakfast. However, the hotel staffs at reception were rude a bit whenever we asked for help or showed face when we asked some questions. One of our rooms having kettle problem, and the hotel water flown out onto the floor after boiling, they told us is normal. They should hv to change room for us but it didn’t. Nevertheless,The location of this hotel is good

Very Good location. Near with Family mart, Lawson, and food shop. And walk to Nanjing road only 2 min. Staff helpful. Room not big but comfort. Free drinking water. View from our room is also good. Recommended

This is the best hotel I stayed in Shanghai so far. 2-3 minutes walk to the famous NanJing Street. Many foods and shop around the hotel. Definitely will come back and recommended to all my friends.

Easy access location, you can travel to the hotel straight from Pudong International Airport without any train change. And walk to the hotel easily. The room is clean, water is great and basic facilities are there. Drinking water can be asked for more and they also have compliment tea. Breakfast was standard with Chinese style. We can easily roam to Shopping street, the Bund, Pop Mart and many more. Plus there's Family Mart opposite to hotel. I recommend this hotel with budget around 90-100 USD.
