The room was extremely tidy and felt quite luxurious. I had a great stay with my friend and we thought it was very spacious as well. The washroom especially was a joy with a beautiful shower and marbled doors and walls. Housekeeping, room service and the front desk were all super nice and accommodating to our needs. Finally the robot who delivers your food orders is incredibly cute and very very charming. A really nice touch to a great stay.

Avoid Pujue International Hotel at all costs. The photos online are completely fake: in reality, the place reeks of cigarettes, hallways are full of dirty cleaning rags, and the rooms are filthy — fresh sticky stains on furniture, hair everywhere, and broken fridges. The young reception staff are very kind (even if they don’t speak a word of English), but the real problem is Mr. Shi from management who couldn’t care less about guests. We had to vacuum the floor ourselves because housekeeping didn’t bother to do it. Breakfast? Basically just watermelon and expired yogurt crawling with insects. And on the last day, we were forced us to change rooms suddenly for “works,” without prior notice…. I booked through Trip.com (who did at least give some compensation), but the hotel itself is a complete scam. If you care about cleanliness, comfort or respect: stay away.

Regarding the hygiene issue you raised, we have identified the staff member who cleaned your room on the day of your check-in and the manager who inspected it, and have punished and deducted their salaries. We will strengthen the inspection of hygiene and improve the quality of cleaning by the staff in the future. As for the food issue you mentioned in the restaurant, we have questioned the restaurant department. Due to the municipal water supply being cut off for meter replacement that day, we ended the restaurant's business hours earlier. The staff member gave you yogurt and watermelon without the manager's inspection. We will enhance the supervision of food safety in the restaurant and the store manager will increase the inspection frequency. Please give us a chance to correct our mistakes and apologize to you in person. We hope you can see our improvement. Thank you.

1 women at restaurant very aggressive with customer. please change the way of speaking more respect. The hallway carpet was so dirty it looked like it had never been washed. The room inside is nice.

2 water bottles every day, they don't besitate to give more Free washing and drying machines, plus they gave me some laundry cleaner as well Hallway smells a bit funny but room was clean. Location perfect for my needs

The hotel is a little bit old and also very loud. The pictures look much better than the reality. It is cheap but I cannot recommend.

"Firstly, it does not seem to be a 4-star hotel. The pictures of the hotel exteriour are absolutely misleading; in reality, there were only four floors in the hotel. The impressive round tower builing shown in the pictures some other building behind the hotel. The corridors had stained and dirty carpets. The rooms were somewhat acceptable by 3-star standards, room flooring was worn out."

Great price and services for the location. The only issue to be aware of is there is no air conditioning in the windowless rooms, so they can get very hot. The refrigerator also didn’t work so no cold beverages. Otherwise, it’s a decent hotel for what you pay.

It was quite a walk from metro station! Hotel is good anyway! Didn’t explore amenities so don’t know what do they have ! Single elevator and single robot for delivery so better pickup your delivery by yourself!

the hotel is a standout tall structure and is located in a “close to everything interesting” part of Shanghai, a few stops from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway station and Airport via Metro Line2. The receptionists were super friendly and helpful (the goodnight call through the room line might be a good gesture but some people could find it odd and bothering), room clean and fitted with a smart lavatory (might be challenging to operate for first timers, would be helpful adding English guide notes). Overall, we had a beautiful stay and I would recommend this hotel
