This is my second time here. First stay was with friends and this time I brought the whole family. We found yet another fantastic value-for-money staycation spot. The kids had a blast in the pool, mom enjoyed some relaxation in the sauna and steam room, and dad appreciated the spacious upgraded room. The breakfast was a hit with everyone. A big shoutout to Johnny at the front desk for his warm, welcoming service with a smile.

The hotel staff is friendly and front desk is very helpful. The rooms are old and there is tremendous dust under the bed a sign that the cleaning is minimal. The carpets are old and stained.  I wish they would change the carpets to laminate and get rid of decades-old dusty carpets like mire modern hotels have done.  Also I don’t recall anyone making our beds or vacuuming the room though we were there for days. I love the location as it’s quiet and easy to get around. This hotel has lots of potential and great employees but the cleaning has to be better.

Hotel was a comfortable stay but a little far from the Metro and the carpets did have a damp smell. Swimming pool was nice but the whirl pool was closed. Staff very friendly.

Hotel was clean and centrally located. Front desk staff was very helpful. The restaurant was the problem. Breakfast was okay but dinner was horrible. Not enough staff and overpriced

Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service and Great Facilities! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Renaissance Shanghai Pudong Hotel, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The service was outstanding — every staff member was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. Whether it was at check-in, during meals, or just passing through the lobby, we always felt warmly welcomed. The facilities were top-notch! The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it easy to relax after a long day. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the attention to detail in the room's design. The pool area was also a highlight — clean, well-maintained, and perfect for both lounging and swimming. As for the food, it was delicious! Every meal was prepared with care, and the breakfast buffet offered a great variety of options. Whether we were in the mood for something light or a more hearty meal, the hotel restaurant had us covered.
