truthfully, the hotel tries to extend help all throughout our stay. they give out more than what you expect from all other hotels. i guess this is why you pay more too but it is all worth it. there is free coffee and water in the lobby and it helps in this very cold weather. they gave us free fruits upon arrival but then what makes it disappointing is that they did not inform us about the package we paid for. they keep saying the chef could not prepare our western meal when we tried claiming it at night and they assured us we can get it in the morning but then they would not let us have it again in the morning because it has to be lunch knowing full well we were checking out that morning. they did let us bring breakfast food but to be honest, the price difference of just paying for the room and breakfast and the STAY VOUCHER is too big for a difference of almost nothing so MY ADVISE IS TO JUST BOOK THE ROOM WITH BREAKFAST, you will get more from that. and drinks in the ref is included already for this so no need to add any frills.

3 stars hotel very noisy due side by side construction zone, it's not located at Bund that is 2.5 km away or 26 minutes walking, Impossible to sleep and rest properly. Old and not maintained building, very old and dirty windows. No common space, impossible to meet people. You need to stay in your ti Unsafe! I hurt myself in the bathtub because they put an iron wire in the center. Unbelievable nightmare

Fantastic stay experience and very friendly staff with good services. Definitely, will revisit for the hotel stay again at Shanghai.

Hotel stay was enjoyable as the staffs are friendly and professional. The buffet was a great spread of mixture of Chinese and western food. The location is pretty strategic as well.

Hotel rooms are very nice. The hotel staff are very polite and helpful and assisted with our request to have a second bed. Hotel breakfast is good 👍 enjoyed our stay here. Very near to Yu Garden metro and can walk to the Bund.

Check in was seamless, complimentary minibar in the room. (Coke, sprite and 2 bottles of water) Free water at the Lobby for hotel guests too. Hotel is within walking distance from The Bund (10mins or so), Xintiandi. Breakfast spread was good, international spread. It's nice to sit at the outdoor dining area too. Perfect weather! Will be back as the bed is really comfy, room was clean, toilet too!

Big, beautiful hotel just steps from the Bund and a subway stop. Very near the Yuan Gardens. My room was large, well appointed with a huge bathroom, including bathtub and shower. Air conditioning worked great, which was necessary, because it was hot and humid in May. The front desk was helpful, though not much English was spoken by many of the staff. Lots of international visitors. The breakfast was large but way over-priced. There are lots of shops and places to buy take away, however.

Very nice hotel in great location. The room is clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the possibility to do the laundry free of charge.

Hotel’s service was exceptional, they addressed any issues we had and went above and beyond our expectations. Hotel location was also within walking distance of the bund, YuYuan Garden and 2 metros. Would recommend

Amazing hotel to stay at. Great location for people that want to see Shanghai for the first time! Amazing service with most of the staff speaking some English and all are very accomodating. The restaurant has amazing food. Had a few issues with the toilet system but that was manageable and other than that it was a great stay and would return!

Easy to get to, friendly staff, great breakfast buffet. Had everything you’d need for a few nights stay.
