Jeg kontaktede hotellet om natten, men der var ingen ansatte, der kunne engelsk. Jeg var nødt til at gå til 9. etage og bruge en oversættelsesapp til at anmode om, at varmelegemet blev tændt. Så kom en mand og efterlod en **køleventilator** i rummet. Giver en køleventilator på en kold dag... seriøst? Næste morgen gik jeg tilbage til 9. etage og rapporterede, at varmelegemet stadig ikke virkede. Deres svar var at **"prøve at betjene det ordentligt"** uden selv at komme for at tjekke det. Det føltes som om de var irriterede og uvillige til at hjælpe. Jeg fik også det indtryk, at kunder, der booker gennem Trip.com, bliver behandlet uretfærdigt i forhold til dem, der bestiller direkte hos hotellet. The hotel environment was nice and the room is hygienic and comfortable. The location of the hotel is close to the station (People’s Square) and nanjinglu street. One more thing would be the staff is very nice and friendly. We had a wonderful stay at Ji Hotel at Shanghai People’s Square. Location is convenient, near subway, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and many restaurant. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast is quite good too. Highly recommend this hotel if you plant to visit Shanghai.

Location so good because its locate near metro station and Nanjing road. Staff cannot speak English but they trying help you by translate.So everything is good.

Love the place, best location and the room is new, clean and very nicely designed. Definitely will book this place again next trip here.

Don’t stay here! Worst hotel I ever have I stayed here for two nights. First night I stay at the second floor, at first, it seemed like an OK room, but the longer I stayed I found out that it’s a ventilation is zero there is no wind and the staff say we cannot open the AC because it will only generate heat and the room is going to get hot and hotter after the first night we asked the staff to change her room. We move our room to the seven floor. Your problem will still the same. There is no ventilation we tried to open the window in the room all we see empty space and bad energy. We have to go outside building to get some cold fresh air(meanwhile in the room, there was 28 degree Celsius something) after a long suffering, we decided to go to the lobby on the ninth floor and tell them about the problem they say they can do nothing but they will get us a cooling fan. It is weird to use a cooling fan while outside is very cold. Furthermore upon outing in this hotel, the staff gives us the wrong room type . We stay in the sheep room, but we pay for the expensive one which seem unfair to me when I ask a staff to refund a difference of the room act like they don’t understand . I think the hotel manager should take responsibility for this.

Booking the same type as last time and the room was smaller than what I have booked, overall it was pretty okay. It would be better if the receptionist was not force us to give review 5 stars every time after our stay.

hotel is a 5 minutes walk away from the metro and just behind of nanjing street. there's many food options surrounding the restaurant. we particularly loved the 串串 just downstairs and patronized every night. room is spacious enough to fully open 2 big luggage.

Overall I would say It’s 9/10 The location was good, I would say it is about than 5 mins walk from the metro which is totally fine for me. The lobby is on 9th floor, staffs were nice and kind but they don’t really speak english so please prepare your google translate ready! My room was bigger than i thought, we can have our 4 luggages on the floor and still got space to walk around.
