Great hotel and nice stay! Only complain is lift is a little hard to navigate where might often miss lift

It was a pleasure booking in for the weekend at this beautifully and esthetically pleasing hotel. The venue is absolutely convenient and close to all the touristy spots on the Bund. The views from the 26th floor were spectacular. We watched a changing kaleidoscope of the Bund at different times of the day. The staff at reception were warm and helpful. Sadly, the porter who came to the car abruptly asked if we had made a booking in an unpleasant manner. The huge breakfast spread, with the amazing views certainly helped to create memories that we will hold on to for many years to come. Thank you for a great stay!! I travel quite a lot. In Shanghai for the second time, at the Indigo Shanghai Hotel on Bund. The first time was in September 2023, and now it's January 2025. This hotel has comfortable and clean rooms, comfortable beds, hearty breakfasts, beautiful views of the river and the location of the hotel. The most important thing is how the hotel staff greets you, and I would really like to thank Joy. She explained in detail all the points of our reservation, helped us find taxis and buses, and organized lunch. Everything is very fast and clear. The hotel team, thank you so much for our wonderful stay in Shanghai at the Indigo Hotel!

My experience at indigo on the bund was absolutely excellent! Henry Zhang at the front desk made sure to take very good care of us, even sending up a birthday cake and fruit platter. Housekeeping was very responsive, and even made use of a charming little robot to deliver toiletries at our leisure. The room was large and the bathroom well insulated sound-wise from the rest of the room. The reading lights were convenient and I had no issues with my stay.

Very good hotel. Not very friendly staff at the rooftop bar, at this level of price we’d expect friendly and kind staff there. Except for that, all great with the hotel.

Ask the hotel if can get special bday cake to celebrate 2 nights stay, hotel staff didnt do anything, which was quite unusual for 5 star hotels We booked special view room which is meant to be have full panel glass according to the pic. Hotel staff said upgraded only to found out we didnt have the full panel windows Theres nothing nearby so have to walk 10mins close to the Yu Yuan garden to get something Plus size: room is quite clean, size is huge, The room service is nice, i think the cleaner saw us with lots of medicines and gave extra bottle of water when we return to the hotel!

Great hotel with stunning view , friendly staffs, great breakfast

The facilities are starting to show their age. The breakfast buffet is somewhat lacking in quality.

The room was pretty good and they gave us an upgrade upon arrival. However on the second day they gave us dirty sheets after cleaning our room so we had to ask for it to be changed again. The service was great though.

Used to be a good hotel but current service is not up to scratch. No one to handle luggages and no one to deliver goods to room, robot was out of action for most things. Overall good location and rooftop bar was nice to look at the bund.

This was my first time to Hotel Indigo. Overall it was a good value of money. The hotel itself was a little dated but the rooms were good. We tried to order the room service at 11pm but they didn't provide any food service after certain time. It's convenient to order food delivery so it's fine. Location is the best as it's a door step at the bund. Will still recommend if you are looking for something of reasonable price and good location.

A different vibe than most hotels in Shanghai from a decor and bar perspective, friendly and nice staff.
