Absolutely fantastic, impeccable service, amazing staff. The room is exceptionally comfortable with a fantastic review of the Bund, especially at night. I cannot recommend the Shanghai EDITION highly enough. Should be your number 1 choice for a Shanghai stay.

Great location and service. They just need to update to USB-C charging outlets in the room. Also if you are working in the room during daytime suddenly lights will turn off and curtains close as the sensor will not see you when working at the desk. Stand up and things will go back to normal but a bit annoying.

Great stay overall, could be more tech enabled I couldn't get points for booking on OTA. Doors were a bit thin

I’ve been to many 5-star hotels but this has been among the best ones worldwide! Excellent & obliging service in all hotel facilities. Stylish, clean & big room with great views (even from the shower & bathtub) and luxury Le Labo products along with multiple welcome gifts made us feel like VIPs. :-) The breakfast is great, too. Big variety and mix of buffet & a la carte (intercontinental & Chinese). Very good location (5 min walk to subway) and in the middle of the famous shopping street, close to the bund. Don’t miss the rooftop bar!

Very nice stay with great view of the city and a bit of the bunds, great room decoration and great service. Ember and Edric are very helpful and friendly during my stay and helped me prepare celebrations with 5 star services. I will definitely come back when I visit Shanghai again.

This hotel was the best in Shanghai. The room and hotel interior were so pretty, and all the staff were kind. The location is also the best because the Waitan and the shopping mall are close. If you come to Shanghai, I recommend you to go to the Edition Shanghai Hotel. I will go to the Edition Hotel again next time 👍🏻

The Edition is my all time favorite hotel brand and I’m so glad I got to experience it in Shanghai. The service was exceptional from the moment I got out of the taxi. Staff were already waiting to greet me and help with my luggage. Check-in at the front desk was smooth and every staff member I interacted with from the restaurant to the bar was incredibly friendly and spoke English well. My room was clean and had an amazing view. I highly recommend staying here. They truly went above and beyond my expectations.

This is my 4th time to Shanghai Edition. I choose it for its location, ambience and good service. Front deck service is excellent, especially Chris 郑佳耀 who is always efficient and gives good recommendations. Breakfast and rooftop bar also the best.

A very nice hotel! We got complimentary upgrade from a king bed room to twin bed room and they helped me to arrange for our room to be side by side, perfect!

My five-night stay at The Shanghai EDITION was flawless and truly five-star. The staff were exceptionally gentle and kind, making the entire experience effortless. The hotel was super clean, and despite the luxury, it genuinely felt like a comfortable home. It's the perfect blend of high-end comfort and warm hospitality. Highly, highly recommended!
