Great stay overall, could be more tech enabled I couldn't get points for booking on OTA. Doors were a bit thin

I’ve been to many 5-star hotels but this has been among the best ones worldwide! Excellent & obliging service in all hotel facilities. Stylish, clean & big room with great views (even from the shower & bathtub) and luxury Le Labo products along with multiple welcome gifts made us feel like VIPs. :-) The breakfast is great, too. Big variety and mix of buffet & a la carte (intercontinental & Chinese). Very good location (5 min walk to subway) and in the middle of the famous shopping street, close to the bund. Don’t miss the rooftop bar!

Very nice stay with great view of the city and a bit of the bunds, great room decoration and great service. Ember and Edric are very helpful and friendly during my stay and helped me prepare celebrations with 5 star services. I will definitely come back when I visit Shanghai again.

This hotel was the best in Shanghai. The room and hotel interior were so pretty, and all the staff were kind. The location is also the best because the Waitan and the shopping mall are close. If you come to Shanghai, I recommend you to go to the Edition Shanghai Hotel. I will go to the Edition Hotel again next time 👍🏻

The Edition is my all time favorite hotel brand and I’m so glad I got to experience it in Shanghai. The service was exceptional from the moment I got out of the taxi. Staff were already waiting to greet me and help with my luggage. Check-in at the front desk was smooth and every staff member I interacted with from the restaurant to the bar was incredibly friendly and spoke English well. My room was clean and had an amazing view. I highly recommend staying here. They truly went above and beyond my expectations.

Highly recommend staying at Edition Hotel when you are visiting Shanghai! It has spectacular view of the city, and just a 5 minutes walk from the Bund. If you have the time, do visit their rooftop bar and restaurant as well, it is amazing. I booked a 1 night stay and I was able to check in at 12pm. Best part of the stay- we got a complimentary room upgrade and was offered late check-out the next day as well, to my pleasant surprise. Upon entering our room, my partner and I were overjoyed to find a box of sweets, a bottle of wine, and chocolates, it really made our day. The hotel provides complimentary slippers and Le Labo shower set for you to bring home, and a variety of local snacks in the Mini bar (refillable). Do check out the hotel’s programme as well as they have quite a bit of interesting collaborations with notable brands, and special promotions for hotel guests. Special mention to the Hotel’s guest relations, Yeri, for giving us a tour of the hotel and being exceptionally attentive to detail. We would definitely book Edition Hotel for our next trip to Shanghai.

my 4 day stay at the Shanghai edition was exceptional. The facilities plus the amenities were top notch and clean. the bathrooms and the toilets were meticulously cleaned every day, and my sheets brand new when I returned to my room at night. But what made this experience the most special was the staff. Every employee I encountered was attentive and kind; going out of their way to make me feel as comfortable as possible. A shoutout to edric, who helped me a lot during my stay. He is the most professional hotel employee I have ever encountered. He went out of his way to assist with reservations and also took the time to make sure my stay was both fun and smooth. He was attentive and found ways to resolve my problems. It really helped in making my trip stress free and enjoyable. I also received some complimentary items during my stay, which made me feel valued.

Excellent Service and Location My family of 5 had an exceptional experience at this hotel, thanks to the personalized service from Yeri. She provided a thorough explanation of the room details upon our arrival and was also very responsive to any additional requests via her WeChat. The housekeeping service was also outstanding. We always returned to our room to find everything impeccably arranged, and our clothes neatly folded—something that most hotels don’t offer. It really added to the comfort and care during our stay. The hotel was also very accommodating, accepting all my Taobao purchases without hesitation. While the location on Nanjing Pedestrian Street means cars can’t drop off directly at the hotel, the staff is stationed nearby to assist with luggage, which made things easier. Prime Location The hotel is ideally situated on the famous Nanjing East Road, just a 2-minute walk from Nanjing East Station Exit 2. It's close to popular tourist attractions like Yu Garden and Xin Tian Di. There are also many delicious eateries and trendy, internet-famous restaurants in the area, such as 莱莱小龙, 蟹叁宝 and 沈大成, making it a perfect destination for food lovers. Clean and Comfortable Room The room was spotless, with fresh bedding and high-quality toiletries from Le Labo, a renowned perfume brand.
