It was the worst experience ever! First, they lie about their shuttle schedule. It was supposed to be 24 hours a day but turned out it’s not true. Also, airport drop off provided very limited time slots even though the booking said it was supposed to be 24 hours also. Second, they don’t inform that their shuttle doesn’t drop you off in front of the hotel doors. Instead, they dropped me off in the middle of a dark road and the bus driver waved down the stairs! How am I supposed to bring two luggages downstairs and then up the next morning??? Third, the staff was so rude! They don’t speak English at all and when you want to use a translator to ask questions, they look at you with annoyance and try to finish the ‘conversation’ asap. Also, the hotel itself is terrible. I do understand I can’t expect something nice for that money but please, don’t lie! The photos don’t match the reality. Everything is dirty, I couldn’t even take a shower. Everything smells like cigarettes (I chose a non-smoking room). People smoke inside the halls, near the elevator, literally EVERYWHERE. I hate it! I really don’t understand how come the hotel has so many 5-star reviews. Did you guys get paid?😅 I was relying on the reviews, such a shame. ❌there was no wifi in the room. I honestly don’t think anyone would enjoy that type of stay😅 Don’t make the same mistake as me!

There is a free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. In return, the receptionist helped me to book a car for only $5 and refused to take any extra money which I really appreciate

Location was 15-30 mins from airport. Take note that the last bus from the hotel is at 1340H; later than that, you'll need to book a taxi with Didi app. Staff was kind enough to assign me a different room when I requested for a room change. The room could be cleaned better. It was a bit dusty. But for the price, it was still more than what I paid for.

Late night hard to find the hotel. Not recommended but if you have no choice to save money then…

The place was absolutely filthy. The windows didn't close so it was freezing. The dirt on the walls of the lift made you want to vomit. The bus they got us ( six of us) had green mould on the seats and the curtains. The other friends we met on arrival were frantically trying to get taxis to get out of the place. It was the worst place I'd ever visited and we only stayed long enough until we could get transport to the airport. I just hope I haven't brought any horrendous bugs home with me from sitting on the chairs in the reception.

BEWARE!!!! Horrendous customer service from this hotel!! I had flight delay of 3.5hours making it impossible to stay at the hotel and they were very unhelpfull! They do not speak a word of English so talking on the phone is impossible! No transfer service available. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!! Only Trip.com fixed my issues and kindly refunded me in full the issues were resolved!!

It was easily the smelliest place during my trip to China, in part likely due to the windows opening onto a murky river. It's bearable for a one-night stay if you're travelling solo and not too particular about cleanliness, but I wouldn't recommend it for anything longer.

More than what i could have bargained for, especially for this price. I arrived half an hour before the official check-in time, no problem. They instantly asked me when my flight would leave, and told me to be ready in the hotel lobby at 04:30 to get the free shuttle bus at 04:40. Everything is fine and well. Also had a real good night's rest, the bed was also much better than what i expected for the price. Will book again for sure!

Stay away from this hotell, dirty and not friendly staff at all

A bit distant from the airport and not easy to find on my first-ever visit to Shanghai. Luckily i encountered a cop on a dark street without whose help could have made for a scary rainy night. The POD name is misleading, as I had in mind the on-site pods I encountered at the Tokyo airport used previously. Not recommended for an overnight lodging solution.

Do not book this hotel!!! I know it’s cheap but avoid. The hotel is 20 minutes from the airport and it’s in a horrible area (destroyed and abandoned buildings around). Nothing else around, just one shop. The last shuttle bus back to the airport is ar 1:30pm, and then starts back up at 3am so if your flight is between this time you need to order a taxi. Front desk will only order it for you if you have cash. The bathroom was FILTHY. We didn’t even use it, it was that bad. We stayed in this hotel for 3h and went back to the airport because we’d rather sit on a bench for 10h than stay in this shack.

cheap price, acceptable facility, free shuttle bus to airport

The girls at the front desk were extremely nice and informative. They have lots of times that the free bus runs to the airport. Worth a stay if you have an early morning flight the next day.
