Although the hotel is located in a small, hard to find alley, it is located almost in the heart of the city, easily commute to anywhere. The staffs were friendly and very helpful despite, the language barrier (as they dont speak english well). You can leave your luggages there they will take care of it too. Overall. It was a great experience staying here, will sure be back. Mom loves it.

Plus: Good location: 10 minutes walk to East Nanjing Road and about the same to The Bund. Spacious room, has everything you need. There is tea, coffee machine and water in the lobby. Comfortable large bed - very good for two. Daily cleaning and clean room. Minus: The hotel is located in the courtyards and is not easy to find. The entrance is on a narrow path between the streets (see screenshot). It is clear that the hotel is a bit old and needs renovation. Very thin windows and therefore you can hear the air conditioner working all night, it prevents you from sleeping. One night there was a very strong smell of sewage, but then it disappeared.

Free laundry services and unlimited mineral water provided by Hotel!! Despite you need to pass through an alley to hotel, everything is above our expectations with this price range and location wise Photo attached as the fantastic view from our room

The receptions are helpful and informative. Love the location as its walking distance to some of the attraction like The Bunds, and Yu Yuan Garden.

It turns out that there are (at least) two branches of this hotel. On my way back, I became a little lost and asked for directions. These took me to the main building, where in fact I was booked into the one at the end of an alley. Luckily the receptionist was able to give me directions. The hotel itself was fine, but for first timers, the access at the end of a narrow back road may be hard to find. Once there, the metro or the Nanjing Road are not far away.

It has an excellent geographical location. It is quiet in the middle of a busy day. There are all kinds of facilities and equipment in the room. There are many restaurants nearby, which can meet your taste buds. At the same time, it is close to the pedestrian street, the Bund, Chenghuang Temple, and many other tourist hotspots. It is really convenient in this international metropolis, where every inch of land is precious. Looking forward to a better stay experience for you with our next visit. Waiting for you!

The room is very big as well as the double bed. It is very close to Bund and river. However, it’s too warm inside and very loud as people speak very loudly outside right under the window. So almost impossible to have a quiet atmosphere and sleep well at night

Hidden in the streets of Shanghai, it is not quite close to anything, but it is in a walking distance to everything major in Shanghai. Definitely worth checking it if you prefer saving a little on the price while enjoying your stay. I would recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay here, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the room is clean and comfy. While the hotel is quite hidden in the back lane and difficult to find at first, the location is very central and convenient. We will definitely stay here again.

Located in a traditional Shanghai longtang neighborhood, the hotel is accessed by either of 2 lanes off of the main roads. The manager and the staff all provided top service, and assisted me with any questions or issues that I might have. The attendant or fuyuan was very attentive with cleaning and the stocking of supplies. Small room, but with everything that you would need; TV, desk, wifi, of course bed, and so forth. Location is only maybe 8 minutes from the Bund and 5 minutes from Shanghai Grandmother's restaurant. Small market store over on Guandong Rd. Price was very reasonable, and overall it was a very positive experience. I plan to stay again, in the future !!

We booked this hotel again after staying here before (in 2022). The hotel room itself is fine. It’s conveniently located to The Bund and the price is good. The room however was super cold and not enough warm bedding. The DiDi / taxi drop off was not convenient and too cold to walk. It’s difficult to find the lane. Other than that, the free coffee in the lobby is great!
