Home Inn Plus (Shanghai Xintiandi Lujiabang Road Metro Station)

Originally, planned to stay for 3 nights but reduced it to 2 cause there was nothing near the hotel. Hotel building is isolated and it takes a while to get to locations in Shanghai by DiDi. Room is generally clean and spacious, although toilet is a little dated, with uneven tiles. Toilet could use a bidet or hose. Room had a low humming or droning sound which we couldn’t identify the source plus there was cigarette smell in the room on the first night. Concierge failed to inform us that the AI butler system wasn’t working when we checked in, so spent the whole first night waiting for the robot butler to bring extra water, which never arrived. Plus point is that they provide free self-service coffee at the lobby area every morning and hotel is located along a main road, so it’s easily located by DiDi.

The location isn’t too far from metro but the surrounding has a lot of shops. It is not too near to city but transport via metro is okay for us. Nearby also has some shopping complex which is convenient to us. Room is great even though without window( they have one manmade window in the room).

Great room with reasonable price. Good friendly customer service from check in, they are good help & very nice for us to have an early room when arrival. The room was clean and quiet with a spacious space for stay. The room is quite clean and includes amenities & blowers. Very easily to catch up a car in front of the hotels to reach a nearby destination we recommend this hotel and also if you have a chance we will visit here again.

Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, this location is perfect for those looking to be in the heart of the action. The staff were also a highlight of my stay. Friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that guests had a positive experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt like a valued guest rather than just another customer. Lastly, I would be remiss not to mention the delicious Chinese breakfast on offer. A hearty and satisfying start to the day, the breakfast was a delightful surprise and added an authentic touch to my stay. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay in the city center. With its close proximity to the metro station, friendly staff, and delicious Chinese breakfast, it truly has everything you could want in a hotel. The only downside I can think of is that the establishment could offer a bit more in terms of amenities, which is why I've given it 4 stars instead of 5. Nonetheless, it was still a wonderful experience and one I would not hesitate to repeat in the future.

We enjoyed walking around and especially to the French quarter and to the nice restaurants. A very good location for someone who loves to explore old Shanghai on foot.
