Great hotel, l would recommend although front desk staff was very rude. He took my hotel key card and throw it away like l was annoying him. (picture on the last slide)

I am happy with the hotel overall. One thing you especially mentioned is the cleaning lady 凌阿姨，her cheerful and positive greeting vibes every morning is heartening.

The hotel is very convenient for business people. It's very clean everywhere. Smoking is not allowed. So, if you are a smoker, you need to go outside the hotel. However, I recommend it.

Great trip. Pool was awesome. A little small but it’s ok for a city. The refrigerator didn’t work but other than, great room. Staff was very accommodating and made sure I had a place to put my items since my refrigerator didn’t work in the room.

Front staff English is just an average. Not cooperative at all. I told them to clean the room on time; after we come back. They didn’t clean the room. Very non serious behavior and unprofessional attitude. Not happy with their service..

Room is clean. Close to Metro Station and Restaurants. Breakfast needs improvement as choices are limited compared to 5 years ago.

The bathtub had problem with hot water. I couldn’t enjoy it ….. 🥲 but overall I am happy with what I had

Special mention to housekeeper, Ling Xue Yu. She has made my 5 day stay a memorable one. She has taken great effort to tidy the room room and constantly greet me when I leave the room with a smile. A little incident happened during my stay. On 5 July, i woke up to use the toilet and I slipped and fell due to water seepage coming from the bathroom. A pool of water had accumulated after my bath last night, causing me to unknowingly step on it and fall. Although I wrote an email to the management, no one came forward to attend to this matter. Housekeeper Ling was notified and she came to my room and assisted me. The floor was laid with additional floor mats and I was also offered refreshment. Thanks Mdm Ling for her warm hospitality.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Amara. Considering the price, it feels quite luxurious. I have some concerns about the air conditioning and cleanliness. My room had visible handprints on the walls. Also, the AC doesn’t go lower than 23. Also, the gym was too humid. I enjoyed the layout and view from my Premier King Suite. It was quite lovely. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Clean hotel. Good breakfast. Lovely staff. However, the swimming pool is located next to a building that isn’t owned by the hotel (I’m assuming). The staff in that building were taking photos of me and many other guests 😐 We were all in bikinis and other swim wear so it’s actually very disgusting that individuals in that building were photographing/recording us. Many hotel guests had to move or just leave the swimming pool because they were being photographed or recorded. The hotel NEEDS to rectify this. It shouldn’t be allowed to continue …

The hotel stay was so excellent and great that we decided to stay one night longer as initially planned. Very good service by the hotel staff again. 👍

IMPECCABLE SERVICE! And pleasant stay. I am a fan of AMARA GROUP. So, it was easy choice where to stay in SH. From check-in to check-out the Amara Signature SH Team were kind and polite. Theyve greeted me personally everytime they see me. Helped me with all my needs, from front office, concierge, health and fitness attendant and flo bar team. Everyone on top of their service! The hotel itself feels luxurious eventho the lobby just a tad smaller than expected. Room was clean, bright as requested but they do smells a lil bit old and tiresome. Outdoor swimming pool were nice for a dip too. Thank you, Amara. I would definitely comeback. Thank you!

Overall I had a pleasant experience at the Amara. The staff was nice and the front desk was friendly. However, I booked this hotel specifically to use the pool because I saw the lovely photos on trip, and planned to have a pool day swimming and reading. Unfortunately there is no seating available at the pool, they just provide a mat on the ground and it was too uncomfortable to be enjoyable.

Great room , we choose executive but not exceptional. Good executive service not open 24h unfortunately. Great location. Not really a 5 stars but rather a 3.
