1. Arrival at night , there was no lights along the road , Taxi can’t even find the place . Workers of the hotel told that the city council doesn’t allow lights as it will disturb the environment.
There is no entrance for the taxi or at to enter the hotel main gate , guest has to carry luggage and bags to walk to the hotel, this is ridiculous
2. Reception , the worker there is not professional. Seeing me as a guest carrying a luggage, she asked me if I have booked a room . And she sounded looking down upon me due to my look after long flight
3. Hotel room doesn’t have plug for UK / SG 3 legs type . I asked the reception , she doesn’t know anything about it and gave even useless advice
4. Reception tried to sell their breakfast. I told i may not be able to eat the food . She doesn’t listen but keep hard selling, saying the nearest shopping mall and cafe is 2 km away . After I checked , there is a cafe just on the opposite side of the hotel entrance by crossing the mai road , 150meters away . I can’t trust their advice
5. The tap water , after using the tap water to wash hands. I feel sticky skin . No mater how much and how Ling I wash with tap water , hands are sticky , there is obvious problem with the water .
4. Tue tea cup , I took a tea cup in the room to get a cup of water , it was shocking to see horrible bubbles foam . The cups were dirty in the room and the tap water has problem too.
5. The bed, not stable and I could feel it an empty wood box
6.Overnight , after checking in , with bad experience, I had to cancel the rest of the day in the hotel and book another hotel
7. I don’t feel The towers clean , I worry they were not wash properly. After I move to another hotel , the clean towers feel totally different.
8. The most ridiculously part . I have to call a car to depart from the hotel . Staff of reception called a taxi . I am foreigner and didn’t know the booking system he used will require me to provide my hand phone last 4 digit and he didn’t tell me . It causes a lot of trouble after I got into the taxi
9. After the taxi was booked , another problem is where to get onto the taxi as there is no path for the taxi to come in . The staff led me walk to the roadside with my luggage, I carried heavy back bag and a handbag , he told me to stand at the roadside position next to the traffic lights and the crosswalk , he asked me to wait there and taxi will stop there and I can get onto the taxi . This is crazy . Taxi can’t stop at the cross walk to get passengers loading up the luggage. End of the day , I have to wait for the taxi there, after the taxi comes , driver talk to me to go to another place to allow me to load the luggage and get into the car . Driver told he will get fined if he le me in at the crosswalk . I told him I have no doubt, but the hotel staff asked me to Wait for the taxi there and get into the car . I can’t go away as I have to catch up with him first . The staff used his work phone to book the taxi for me and after I arrived the roadside crosswalk , he left . I had no choice but to manage the troubles.
As a result , after long flight , sleepless overnight due to bad experience in the hotel , I ran away from
This hotel . Location is extremely inconvenient and overall worst experience in my 20 plus years of traveling around the world .
The design and the whole setting of the room is very inconvenient . Space design is horrible ! I can’t even open my luggage properly. .
Can tell the hotel is kind of property transformed from business building , without proper design and set up . Staffs are not trained not professional, they just want to get rid of your questions and not caring about the guests
