Guike Hotel (Shanghai Xuhui Sun Moon Light Branch)

There are a number of areas that did not match the impression I had prior to arrival. Firstly, the hotel shares its premises with a youth hostel with the hotel rooms on Level 9 only. To get to level 9, you have to first take a lift to Level 8 before transferring to another lift. This was extremely troublesome especially when you need to go to reception for any matter. The rooms are laid out like a maze and it was easy to get lost in the maze until you get the hang of it. On my first night, they had me in a windowless room that smelled very strongly of medicated oil. This room was extremely stuffy but they were kind enough to move me to a room with a window, though it was much smaller with no chairs and wardrobe to hang your clothes. I liked that the rooms had a washing machine with dryer which was a convenient way to wash your clothes on the go. The gym was in a carved out space next to reception, making it extremely weird and strange to be working out. The shopping mall that the hotel is connected to has seen better days, looking rather lacklustre though it was nice to have easy access to a supermarket. Staff members were generally kind and obliging though it was easy to miss them as they were often hiding behind a messy and cluttered reception counter. The hotel is also at least a 10-15min walk to the nearest metro stations so something to keep in mind when booking.

服務是約等於沒有的，完全不把客人當回事。 1.房卡開門很不靈敏，無窗的房間衹能開熱空調也不能調整温度，又悶又熱衹靠一個微弱的排風扇，空調濾網也不知道多久沒清洗，面板上標誌都亮了。 2.馬桶是貼着玻璃的，坐下來腿都沒地方放。 3.房間貼的Wi-Fi密碼是錯的，洗漱用品是要問前台要的，打電話問前台説這些入住的時候會給我，問題是你給了嘛？除了房卡什麼都沒給！而且房間座機是打不通前台的，客服微信半天回一句，從app找到電話才聯繫上。 3.煙霧探頭連塑封都沒拆，消防有沒有驗收？安全出口是沒有標註的，一層樓好幾十個房間發生危險能疏散嘛？房間在九樓還要坐到八樓再換另一個電梯才能到9樓，真是第一次遇到！ 4.全天有沉悶的機器運行的聲音，一開始以為是隔壁洗衣機，結果一晚上沒停過！十分莫名其妙。 沒有第一時間要求退房是我今年做過最後悔的決定！
