The Coppleridge Inn

Firstly, the only positive aspect - the breakfast was good. Otherwise a big disappointment mainly down to the dirtiness of our room. Dusty shelves in the walk-in wardrobe covered in the remains of dead insects; dead insect remains under the chair cushions; filthy bathroom blind; dusty chest of drawers. Also, there is nowhere comfortable to relax in the place apart from the bed in our room. The two “easy” chairs in the room have lost their springiness and in the hotel itself there are only hard wooden chairs on which to sit. Relegated to our room we had to make do with a tiny television located on the wall opposite the bed and close to the ceiling. We shall not be going back.

Stayed here for my birthday weekend to celebrate with family and friends. Lovely place to stay in beautiful countryside all around. Big, comfy rooms and great food. Really friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make sure I enjoyed my birthday

We visited for our anniversary after getting married here 2 years ago. We were given a very warm welcome with two complimentary proseccos and guided to our table. The garden room was lovely and warm, nice music, and prompt service to offer menus and subsequently take our order.. The food was lovely, its nice to have options of something a bit different. We are "food snobs" in our friends opinions and can be a bit picky. The Bibimbap and fish and chips didn't disappoint. The deserts were also amazing! We left with very full bellies, full hearts and looking forward to returning. The walk in the bluebell woods and a visit to the lambs are an absolute must. Thank you Tina and Graham.
