I recently stayed at Hub Hostel Seville and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon arrival, I checked in and everything seemed fine, but later in the day, I discovered that my reservation had been cancelled without any warning or explanation. Despite physically being at the property, I was marked as a "no-show" in their system. This was incredibly frustrating, as it left me with no place to stay. The worst part was the response I received when I contacted the hostel about the issue. Instead of offering an apology or solution, the staff's response was dismissive and unprofessional. They suggested I didn’t understand their policies, and their tone was rude and condescending. It seemed like the hostel's system was designed to avoid platform fees by marking guests as "no-shows," even when they were there. This felt like a deliberate attempt to manipulate the system and avoid responsibility. I was hoping for a more empathetic and professional response, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. I would not recommend this hostel, as my experience left me feeling misled and disrespected.
