Impeccable service! Staff are very friendly and respectable. Great location, Just above subway, only a station away from Seoul station and 3 stations away from Myeongdong (same line). Airport bus is 4mins walk. Convenience store is just downstairs. Lots of restaurants. There’s small Olive Young within 4mins walk. Room size is above my expectation. Design is great. View is perfect. I will surely stay here again next time.

The hotel's location was perfect for exploring Seoul, with easy access to transportation and nearby attractions. The metro is just in front of the hotel.

Good location and right in front of the metro station. If you prefer less busy but convenient location, this will be a good option.

The location is good via train (exit 10). The bus stop (2 stops away from Seoul Bus station 3) is also very near the hotel. There are hot/cold water dispenser as well as ice dispenser at B2. For housekeeping, you will need to inform the reception before you proceed out for the day. The hotel surrounding has alot of eateries and coffee choices. The hotel recommended restaurant, Gugu Abalone and chicken porridge (구구 전복 삼계탕), run by an old couple was great.

Location is near metro so it’s convenient, hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. Room is spacious and clean

The hotel lobby was not clean. The rooms were good but breakfast could be better.

The best about this hotel was location, super convenient if you need to be close to Seoul station and also many food places to choose from within just 2-5 mins walk, and the convenience store just downstairs. The hotel is not at the Seoul station itself but just 1 stop away, and the station has an elevator entrance right in front of the hotel. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The premises are just ok, but the room itself is oddly designed, despite the name of the hotel “the Designers Hotel”. The room switches are not located near the bed and electricity sockets are lacking. The bathroom is designed in a way that if you are taking shower, the water will flow by the toilet and the sink. The bed is ok, the pillows could be better. Overall I would give it 7.5 out of 10. I would not be able to stay here for more than 3 days, but if you are in a business trip for 1-2 days and on a budget, but need a convenient location near the transportation hub, it is a good choice.

Great hotel. We loved it. We definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Seoul. It was so convenient because of its location next to the train station (exit 10).

Very convenient places just above the subway station, downstairs many convenient store. If next we come Seoul, I think I will stay in this hotel again. 

*THERE IS NO SUCH THINGS OF BEST HOTEL/PLAN IN ANY TRIP, there is only hotel/plan which suit you.* I choose hotel designer due to its very last min spontaneous trip to fix for two (with a 10yo) mean no nightlife , no happening place. Hotel designer seoul is 1 station after seoul which i felt it is fine . The station less crowd, its in a quite neighborhood with food/cafe/convenient store around . The subway station with lift which mean every trip back to hotel there is less grumpy for the kid for climb the stairs bck to the hotel, happy kid = happy mom. If you can walk within 10-20mins u shall can reach seoul station areas too but we didnt as its our first winter trip with -7’c. We do not want to get ourself caught in cold so basically we just take train. Buy the 3days weather card from Convenient store cost 6000w & upload 10k won for 3days unlimited train around the seoul for bus and train which is worth as whichever train station u missed , in and out you will no need to worry about the balance you have to top up. Back to the hotel itself, we got the premium room. Which can accomodate for 3pax . Come with a huge bathtub with jaguzzi which we didnt use 😅 Abit dim for the light. If we open the curtain the building opposite can be see thru , at first they gave us 3rd floor and we request for higher. If any floor higher than 15th shall can see very nice view of namsan tower . And we only to find the nice cafe which gave 40% off for the hotel guest which we shall notice it earlier . The cafe is comfy . The convenient store gs25 and c u mart right opposite the road does safe us for any convenient meal. But each trip cost us 30000won 🤣 its aint cheap tho. But the kid preference , once again happy kid = happy mom. We found next door room with white interior look brighter and more suit for family instead black suitable for couples 🤣 Anyhow, the price for the year end holiday during the peak season week, there is no complain. Will i be back ? Yes its cheaper during the normal days i think.

Was a very pleasant stay. Booked the suite room for my family of 5 and the room was really well-maintained, clean, and spacious. This hotel is incredibly convenient as well, nestled literally just beside the train station which was something i appreciated a lot when you are trying to go back to the hotel as fast as possible due to the freezing weather. The TVs also has Netflix which was a nice add-on. Recommended!

The hotel is right at the exit if Sookmyung Station. Our luggages were kept in the luggage storage room as we were there before the check-in time. Concierge staff are very helpful. The hotel room is accessible via the room card. The suite room at level 20 only has 2 units. Very spacious room complete with seoarate toilet and bathroom. Wash basins are beside them. There is a bathtub which is facing the Namsan Tower and Seoul Station. Great sunset and sunrise view. There are sofas, a single-seater, tall fridge, dining table, 2 TV screens and 2 aircons. Personal amenities such as bedroom slippers can be purchased at the vending machine at level 1. Guests enjoy 20% discount for drinks at the Onhwa Lounge.

One station away from Seoul station, located at sookmyung women university station. Was great for us because it’s 1 stop away from AREX. Nice neighborhood, with lots of eateries nearby.   Room don’t have much walking space after accommodating 1 super single and 1 queen bed, but bed size was great for a family of 3. Cleanliness wise could be improved as we realized there were dust on the coffee table, bathtub doesn’t feels clean after staying in overnight even though we requested for housekeeping.  There was even blood stain on the blanket where our feet would be covered, luckily the blanket cover was over it.  Overall it was a great location and staffs were friendly.

Hotel very conveniently located beside the exit with lift. Pretty decent hotel for the price paid. However would be good if the shower head is not above the bath tubs as it’s quite slippery and high to climb into the bath tub to shower
