I booked a 4-bed hotel and the room was too small to move around in. Especially if there’s too many bags placed inside of the room. I was placed in Room A3 and there was a engaged column inside the room so the bag storage below our bed was basically unusable since it’s not possible to open and put you bags in, unless it’s a mini bag I guess. Toilets/Shower rooms, there are 4 shower rooms and 2 toilets from the 2nd floor. However the other 2 shower is too narrow and it’s tough not to get you clothes wet. They also provide a towel but it’s too tiny so best to bring one with you. There’s no elevator so best prepared to carry you bags up multiple floors. The common area is basically a tiny table where you can eat quick meal but not to lounge or do work comfortably. Breakfast is cereal, milk, break and jam. That’s about it. Overall, it’s an ok place. Not the best but reasonable for its price.

Good location in Myeondong. Just a few steps away from MRT and shopping area. Shower is nice and hsd free breakfast.

This is the second time I visit korea alone and last time I stayed at hostel type too and this is the first time I try stay here as a new hostel. I have to say this hostel is great. Value money. The each room is not big and not too small compared to other hostels I ever stay. Air condition is always provide. The light is automatic so even you come back late night and it seems dark suddenly the light will turn on for you. The center space is available all times can sit and eat and play phone even it’s late night. Not too messy all furniture are tidy (if some things messy maybe the stayer bags). The best past is they provide 2 towels for me and have new towels for changing every morning. And they have easy breakfast too. And the sfaff especially the male one is very friendly!! I have wonderful time there while travel alone. If I have more chance to go back to korea I will definitely stay here again. Please keep this good things. Price and location push points. Made a request for specific bunk bed and even paid for 4 bed room, however the request was missed out in the system. Service staff was very apologetic and tried her best to make alternative arrangements. All these could have been avoided if there’s proper handling. Requested for lower bunk bed as I was staying for multiple days. Definitely a hassle to climb up/down. Noisy environment as some guests do not have basic social awareness

The location is the best!! Right in Myeongdong which is super close to many places around there. Not far from subway too. Pretty safe for solo travelers here

I love this hostel for its breakfast and convenient location near Seoul Station, where you can take the AREX from the airport. The WiFi is excellent, and it’s close to Namsan and Myeongdong shopping street. During winter, the lobby and dorm rooms can get very cold, so be sure to ask the staff for an electric heating pad. I really enjoyed my stay. Some guests mentioned noise, but I used earplugs and a sleep mask and had no trouble sleeping through the night. My bed was near the door, which beeped whenever someone opened or closed it, but it wasn’t a big issue for me.

My stay at PhilipStay was very welcoming . The owner was very kind to me. I had not slept in hours and he let me check in early . The location is perfect . They have huge lockers downstairs for your big luggage and a very big space under your bed. The beds are bigger than in other hostels and there are 4 plugs in your oversized cubby , a light, a flip out table and a nice screen shade that lowers down for privacy. You have the metro right as you step out . The airport shuttle is across the street within 3 minute walk . Lots of eateries as soon as you walk out the door. Breakfast was simple Coffee, cereal and toast with peanut butter and jelly. I extended my stay because they keep it very clean and the location was perfect .

Best hostel in my life. There was everything you need, even laundry machine and iron. It's very important for me. Capsule and bed so big and comfortable. Best location - 1 minute from subway station and Myeongdong shopping street. It's was quite and safe place. Love it so much and recommend. I'll definitely stay here my next time in Seoul. Thank you for your hard work and care!

Have always been staying here when travelling solo as the location is really very convenient! Nice & friendly staffs who is always there to help you if needed.

Very goid location

A perfect and absolutely safe hostel for females i Myeondong! Just one thing, since there are no ventilations in the rooms, it would tend to smell a bit carpet-y. Have to know that this is on the opposite side of Myeongdong shopping street! safe and convenient location for train and bus! highly recommended

Location is perfect but the breakfast is repetitive. Can be great with Ramyeon. Hassle that the toilets are just in the 2nd floor but being a budget hostel, it is given for that.
