The Connoisseur Residence Hotel

Staff responded to my emails very quickly as I needed to check in after 12am. The location of this accommodation is fantastic as it’s well within walking distance to Line 9 국회의사당역 and 2 bus stops. Place is very quiet and safe! Plenty of food options and coffee places like KFC, Paul Bassett, Mega Coffee, Korean & Chinese food, etc. The appliances in the room (microwave, washing machine, dryer & styler) were of great condition and super useful! I will definitely want to come back here for a stay the next time I’m in Seoul.

I recently stayed at The Connoisseur Residence Hotel for 4 nights, and I must say, it was a great experience. While the hotel may seem to be situated in a business area that appears to be in the middle of nowhere, I found the location to be quite convenient. It was only a 15-minute metro ride to Hongdae, and Itaewon was similarly accessible in about 15 to 20 minutes. Myeong-dong took around 25 to 30 minutes to reach, which was manageable. The neighborhood had plenty of restaurants, and I appreciated the several convenience stores open 24/7, along with a nearby laundry that was also open around the clock. Additionally, the hotel is just a 10-minute walk to both the IFC Mall and Hyundai Mall, making it easy to shop and dine. If you're planning to explore all the major areas in Seoul, I highly recommend this hotel as a base. One feature I particularly loved was the LG airdresser in the room; I used it every day, and it worked perfectly. Overall, a great stay!

Overall: Great stay, helpful staff, clean, great amenities arrived around midnight for check in and whole process was very fuss free but if you need to contact a staff after front desk closes, you need to wait awhile but nonetheless very helpful staff still amenities are amazing it's like a small apartment and equipped with more than enough amenities, great for those with winter jackets because of their styler, can sanitise it and clothes can be washed conveniently as room is equipped with washer and dryer. Convenient store food can be microwaved in the room itself too! Closest convenient store is right behind the hotel like 1min walk and another is about 4min walk away which is bigger and opens till late. station is nearby and has lift and escalators at all exits so it's extra convenient highly recommended for those staying long haul

Chose this hotel as it was convenient for us to access incheon airport and gimpo airport, and was near the train station. We found a cockroach in one of our rooms. Stayed for 2 nights but room was not made on the second day. Amenities are all not provided, and charged if needed. No late checkout, everything chargable. Room was not really cleaned, can see a layer of dust on the tables. Windows were large enough so air from outside can come in to ventilate room. No view. Only positive thing is that there is a washing and dryer in each room (but bring your own detergent) and a clothes sentilizing machine. For the price paid, we felt that the service and amenities provided was not worth.
