Good location near to mall, decent room size, decent breakfast spread. Fast response customer service and staff. Experience power trip in the room a couple of times but immediately recover. It will be good if hotel can maintain affordable rate as it is keep going up over the years. Overall experience is good

The hotel with a very good location and good environment. And the foods very nice

Hotel service fair nothing to shout about. Location 6/10. It's next to the mall but again there's nothing to shop/buy/see. Try to find juices , very limited choice. Surrounded by shop lot which majority selling fast food and mini mart. Good location for local I guess. Amenities very basic. Tooth brush shampoo , hand and body cleanser 2 bath towel , bath mat and hair dryer that's it. Coffee/tea making facilities and mini fridge. No bottle drinking water except a jar of water where you can refill from the dispenser at corridor. Which I am allergies with those tap water even though with super brand water filter. ( learned from my bad experience in Jakarta). Luckily the groceries shop next to the hotel , so I can get a mineral water. TV ? Very interesting...... I don't expect such a branded hotel chain with no smart TV. Unable to connect my laptop since the only way to connect with TV via vga or hdmi. Breakfast selection fair , I think almost similar with other local brand hotel in pekanbaru. Nothing impressive. Overall, there's a few local brand hotels with good location and lower price and same standard that you may pick.

Amazing Place to stay, with wifi and comfy bed. However tv does not have any netflix or youtube but have a ton of other channels to watch from. overall a great 10/10 experience

This time round, they gave a non smoking room from the start. Much better than my first experience. The swimming pool is ok but water seems a bit dirty. Will not swim in it again.

We went there for a concert and during the same day there’s a wedding ceremony at the hotel. The hotel was packed, the lift was so slow. No towels in the room until we need to get ourself from the housekeeping basket. One of the room the aircond doesnt work and we need to call them like twice to fix it. But in term of the location, it was very strategic.. next to a mall and in the middle of the town.

Excellent location and friendly service staff :) We stayed for a night and went to their in-house massage which accepted bookings until 12am. The massage was great! The hotel room itself was clean and well furnished. Bed was so soft and comfy that i still miss to this day. If you want to have a restful good night's sleep i highly recommend this hotel. Thank you and we will stay again in future! ＜3

To be honest, with the facilities given, I felt that the hotel was pricey. Yet, the geographic location (in Sumatra) might make this hotel have less competitors. I honestly feel do not have as many options to stay like when I was in Java Island. I was mind with the design of the bathroom as there was this thick glass window separating the bedroom and the bathroom. When I was about to shower, I had to pull the white-thick vinyl curtain down. I just didn't feel that I had enough 'privacy' when I was showering as I had a roomate with me. Why did they design that way? LOL I didn't dare to glance at the glass window when my roomate was showering. I hope she did the same... The good thing about the hotel was the breakfast. The coffee was also great!

Location is very good, near to airport. Room is clean and spacious. Very convenient. Next to shops, marts, mall which has a supermarket, restaurants, pharmacies… Just bring your own bath towels.

This is one of my usual business hotel in pekanbaru. Is a regular hotel. No surprise. Normal breakfast.

Novotel Pekanbaru, will definitely be my Hotel of choice whenever im on my Business Trip.

Despite booking non-smoking room, the room provided was a smoking room. Even if I ask for a change, staff said there is no available due to full booking… Reservations are meaningless.
