Hotel Garni Ongaro

On arrival we were met by the owner who was very friendly and welcoming. The room was large and very clean. The room was cleaned regularly every day, beds made up, fresh bedding was put on for us and towels replaced. Quality of sleep was good, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast we found there to be a good options of food, from cereals, yoghurts and warm foods. Mr partner very much enjoyed the cakes which were excellent and definitely needed for a full days of hiking. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get away to the area for a budget holiday. Great views from the hotel. Friendly staff/owner..can’t go wrong! We booked this hotel in the advice of friends who stayed here. We had been to the region before and stayed elsewhere. Were we sorry. While the rooms were adequate the service was awful. The staff were very arrogant and condescending . I do not know if it was because we were American or they had issues . There was basically no service We left after only one night forfeiting the rest of our prepaid stay, Avoid

We were denied rooms because we are Israeli. Absolutely devastated by the antisemitism of this hotel staff. Never thought this would happen in 21st century. I hope these people start looking for peace and human dignity and love instead of hate.

This place at this time of the year is a true blessing. The weather was great and the location excellent! The price and availability of food is very good, better than expected. I just wish I could stay longer and enjoy more of the scenery. Location, affordability and service make this an ideal place worth visiting.

I stayed at Hotel Garni Ongaro during a recent trip to Italy, and it left me thoroughly disappointed. From the moment I arrived, I encountered a series of issues that made my stay far from relaxing. The room was noticeably outdated and poorly maintained, with creaking fixtures and stained carpets that hadn’t seen a proper cleaning in ages. The air conditioning barely worked, and it was a struggle to get any comfort from the overly stuffy room. Service was another major letdown. Requests for extra towels or a quick fix to the broken lamp were met with indifference, and the front desk staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than addressing guest concerns. The breakfast buffet, which I had hoped would be a redeeming factor, turned out to be a sparse and uninspiring affair—far from the hearty, fresh start one expects in Italy. The only slightly redeeming feature was the hotel's location, which offers a pleasant view of the surrounding area. Unfortunately, even that small positive couldn’t compensate for the overall lack of care and attention evident throughout my visit. I left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied, and I wouldn’t recommend Hotel Garni Ongaro to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

Best stuff with best Guests 😘. The stuff is friendly and familiar. The wiew is fantastic with the mountains.. Rooms is little small but comfortable. Cleaning is very very good and air outside is very fresh, you can feel yourself calm and happy. All stress will gone!
