I booked this accommodation after recommendations on a sea glass FB page. I can see why it received so many recommendations. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a great location. The hosts are attentive, helpful and quick to respond to calls/messages, so booking and access to the property was easy. It is very reasonably priced. When I return I will stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

Booked deluxe rooms self catering and disappointed to find there was no fridge . The room was very dusty and the kettle badly needed descaling. Situated on a very busy road with very steep stairs up to the first floor Good point was the bed was big and comfy and there were plenty of restaurants nearby

Excellent communications. Easy in and out. The room was lovely and well equipped. The bed was large and very comfortable. Highly recommended. Parking was easy, either on the property or the street. The hotel was 2 minutes from the beach and the amenities. Very close to the famous Tommy sculpture.

Roomy, lots of extras, but a few signs of wear & tear. Very efficient self check in, with front door & key safe codes & WiFi password forwarded. V.modern style, clean and welcoming though scuffs and bare wood showing on IKEA style chest of drawers & bedside table. Good bed linen, comfortable sofa.

Absolute gem! Stayed here for just one night and was fantastic. Lovely and warm, hot shower, comfy bed! Beautiful presented accomodation only a minute or two walk away from the beaches, cafes, shops and restaurants.plenty of on street parking. Will stay here again the next time I'm in Seaham.

What a lovely find We booked this for one night stay as we was only up there for less than 24 hours due to a family event. We was in room one There was 4 of us. Nice kitchen, sofas downstairs as well as very nice bathroom Upstairs was a double bed and a separate room with bunkbeds and a toilet Very clean comfortable Had tea coffee milk sachets for you to use Highly recommend

We had the smallest double room so cannot comment on the others. It met our needs for a 3 night stay. The hotel is well located in Seaham, very close to the sea front and a good choice of places to eat. The standard size bed was comfortable. Small room which was all we needed but there could have been a chair. Overall it was quite clean, but there was a heavy build up of fluff/dust behind the TV and in the shower extractor fan. No wardrobes in this small room but there was adequate open shelving and hanging space. The sash window and blind need some maintenance work. Very modern wall mounted TV with apps. Strong wifi and internet connection. Some apps were logged in - not sure if that's part of the service or whether they were from a previous occupant. With common sense, there is off road parking for 2 cars but it's more likely you will park on the roadside - there is plenty of free parking. We could easily see our car from the room, both when off road and also when parked roadside.

Another very pleasant stay with my family. My granddaughter loves it. We’ve stayed here on numerous occasions in a few of the rooms. Never been disappointed. We’re returning next week. The security/access arrangements are very good and there’s plenty of parking space outside.

A lovely place to stay, the rooms were clean and comfortable with tea, coffee, biscuits and water. There wasn't much space to put your clothes and only three coat hangers but that is my only little moan. Everything else was spot on. It was well situated for the sea front and town, there was lots of free parking on the road outside, the cleaners came every day and did a great job. I would definitely recommend No. 16.
