Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

The room had a smell that would not go away . We asked housekeeping to have some take look or smell - to fix it . The smell keep coming back

The property is 5 Diamonds in every way. Location central to all of Scottsdale. Grounds are beautiful and the housekeeping staff is excellent. All appointments in the spacious rooms are premium down to the leather box for the TV remote. We ate breakfasts in the Ironwood Grill and the food and service were 4 star. Best of all, the service and friendly staff elevated this resort to top level. This was the first time at the Princess; it won't be our last.

We came here because it was family friendly. Our fridge in our room was broken, I had to go down to the front desk to request a new fridge because they never picked up their phone when I called. We had a 5 month old baby who is breastfeeding and needs his breast milk in the fridge. When I requested the fridge, they said “it will be up shortly” we waited two hours before making a call, trying to look for staff members to ask them for our fridge and at last we eventually had to walk all the way down to the front desk to tell them we still need a fridge. We finally got our fridge but they put it in the middle of the room and didn’t even put the items from the old fridge to the new fridge like we requested. Also, we made sure there were soft chairs at the Pool because of the baby and when we called before making reservations, we were told that there were soft chairs. Upon arrival we asked again just to make sure and they had no idea what we were talking about. Anyway, so even the pool staff told us that there were soft chairs but at the other pools instead of the ones we were at. We had the run around this whole trip. There are more things that went wrong that I could write but it would be way too much. At the end, they asked us how our stay was and all we got was an apology.

Amazing place! Loved the Privado villas! Thank you especially to Valerie and Chana! We loved everyone and everything about our stay 10 stars!!!!! Amazing ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ Dragan was great and Debbie did an amazing job with the workout classes! Aerial yoga was awesome!!!! Spa is top notch! Wow just amazing stay!!!!

Never has a hotel been more aptly named - we felt like royalty from the moment we walked in to the moment we (very sadly) left. The staff in this hotel are outstanding, the food in each of the venues is fantastic, and the resort is just stunning and magical. There were so many exceptional staff in the resort it’s hard to know where to start - but Betsy and Brittany in ironwood really looked after us for dinner Keith from bell was so helpful and has been with the hotel for such a long time - and he’s clearly still so passionate about it that it’s infectious! Jake at the pool looked after us on a daily basis, remembering details about what we had planned to do the previous day and asking how it had been etc, like he genuinely cared. Marco at Sunset pool was so cool and looked after us so well - and Melissa always remembered our order! Dominic was our first server at breakfast on our first day and made us feel so welcome! Sandy was another breakfast server that went above and beyond for us to make sure we had everything we needed. Carlee was also amazing and made sure the kids were heard! We celebrated a birthday while we were there, and Jeff in bourbon steak made sure it was the most memorable and special experience! The plaza bar is a nice place to grab a quick drink before dinner (their bar menu is also nice) and you will always be met with a smile and a really friendly chat by Veronica! Honestly one of the best Mexican meals I’ve ever had was in La Hacienda - and the coffee after dinner is a real spectacle to behold and the most delicious coffee you will ever taste - don’t skip it even if coffee keeps you awake, it’s worth it!!! Carlos was fantastic at explaining the menu and Nick who I think was the manager, saw the note of the birthday on our profile and brought the most amazing sharing dessert which was so special! I can’t talk highly enough of this stay and we cannot wait to visit again. It was truly the most fantastic family vacation that made memories we will all cherish - mostly down to the people who looked after us. We are so grateful to you all!!!!!

The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is a AAA Five Diamond resort and it is stunning Now, it is in the desert so it can get ever so hot, but the AC in your room will keep you cool. We had a room with a balcony and we loved it. The room service was great as are the places to eat right there. You don't have to leave the hotel if you just want comfort and peace and quiet. There are about 6 pools some have waterslides, cabanas, poolside service and an adorable fake beach--all sandy white. The Well & Being Spa is huge and whatever you want or need done they have. Get a massage. It was wonderful. Our room was large and very clean. The staff is great and can advise you of places to go off site if you want. Your room will be kept so clean. They also have a nice golf course I think they have fancy tournaments there, but I am not sure. My husband loved it. There are five restaurants on site, and we tried 3 of them. They were so great. It is an expensive hotel, but for us, it was worth it all.

3 day stay with 6 room! Great vacation. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Chandra was our server at breakfast, wonderful and remembered us from previous stays! Explained breakfast options and gave suggestions for the kids, which was appreciated. The kids loved the donut wall. The adults loved the deconstructed choices for the yogurt! Mango was yummy! Front desk was able to move our rooms to the F building, right in the middle of the resort. A couple issues with AC but taken care of promptly. Excellent dinner at La Hacienda. Summer camp theme was fun. Summer games mini-golf, games, and laser bullseye were a hit with us. Would suggest having water cups available, there was cold water but the bar kiosk lady would not give us cups for the water. Cups were for paid drinks.

My daughter and I stayed at the Scottsdale location for a girls trip! We went to the spa our first day and had the Sisley facial which was divine! We fell in love with the entire space, however when we went up to their rooftop pool, it was more of a Vegas party vibe than a Zen/relaxing place. At the main pool we had great service (shout out to Colin!) and the food was good! Our second day, we were totally ignored by the pool attendant and ended up having to go to the bar to order/get our own drinks/food. The last day at the pool was better and our dinner at The Bourbon Steak restaurant more than made up for it! Unfortunately, the entire resort was dead by around 7 p.m. Even the lobby bar was deserted! The TVs were on but no bartender. I would come back to the resort again! I loved their attention to detail and overall experience.
