The Headlands Hotel is located in the heart of Scarborough's beautiful North Bay looking across towards Scarborough Castle and has a wide range of spotlessly clean rooms available, all of which are en-suite and have breakfast included in the rate. Breakfast is served in our bright and spacious dining room using fresh local produce and we also have a fully licensed bar that is open every evening serving drinks and food.
We are a family friendly hotel and have two recently refurbished Family Rooms available that sleep up to 5 people (max 2 adults) in addition to our range of Standard and Superior Twin and Double Room options. Superior and Family Rooms are located at the front of the building and have views across to the castle headland and sea. All our rooms are going through a refurbishment program that will see all 13 rooms updated and refreshed by April 2022. Parking is not an issue, we have a small car park onsite and all the on street parking around the hotel is free of charge.
It's just a five minute walk from the hotel to the North Bay Beach, Peasholm Park, Scarborough Open Air Theater and Alpamare Water Park and there are bars and restaurants close by. The town center and South Bay beach are both within easy reach of the hotel.

The whole experience of staying at the Headlands Hotel was superb. The hosts were lovely and very helpful regards the areas events and places of interest. The Hotel was spotless,bedroom well equipped, walk in shower marvellous. Couldn't have found a better hotel anywhere.

Steve and Karen are fantastic hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Both knowledgeable about Scarborough and the surrounding area. The room was spotlessly clean as were the towels and bedding. Breakfast is amazing with fresh local produce and plentiful. Cereals, fruit and yoghurt are also available. The well stocked bar is great to come back to after a busy day. We will definitely be returning again.

Just returned from our 4th visit toThe Headands hotel. Spotless room and very relaxed welcoming stay. A proper English breakfast served piping hot. Love the chilled atmosphere in the bar, nice place to kick back after exploring the Yorkshire coast. Worth mentiong on site parking always a plus in my book. If your going to a concert its 5 mins from the bar to the open air theatre..... trust me.

The Headlands Hotel is in a quiet location in the Peasholm park area.The room was very clean and comfortble with a lovely bathroom with walk in shower.The hosts are very friendly and can't do enough for you.We would recommend the hotel to anyone who loves Scarborough.The full English breakfast is excellent too.

Fantastic stay with Stephen and Karen - they are amazing hosts and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The family room was perfect for us (2 adults and 2 kids - 1 and 4yrs), with all the amenities needed. The bar has an excellent atmosphere but isn’t too loud for young children sleeping upstairs. Location is perfect to explore all Scarborough has to offer! And breakfast - you won’t get better. Will be staying many more times this year and highly recommend.

Another fantastic weekend staying here. Steve and Karen are super hosts. Rooms are very clean and spacious, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits in all rooms. Breakfast is very good ( delicious)with plenty of choice. Evening lite bite menu available at very reasonable prices Perfect stay. Most definitely recommend staying here.

We have just had another fabulous stay here at the Headlands hotel our 4th visit. Steve and Karen are fantastic hosts of this hotel in Scarborough. The rooms are spotless and clean tea/coffee/biscuits in the room are always a plus. A home cooked breakfast selection was on offer every morning with plenty of choice for all diets. My aunt has to have a dairy free diet this was well catered for and nothing was a problem. A well stocked bar in the evening was always a pleasure to come back too. Parking on site too. Definitely worth a visit in a convenient location near to Peasholm Park. See you again soon. Tracey & Paul

Great hosts can't do enough. Situated in a great location peaceful and quiet. The hotel itself offers spotlessly clean bedrooms and public areas. The day starts with a great breakfast with locally sourced produce mmm. The bar lounge in the evening is very welcoming and the food is great if you just want to kick your shoes of after a busy day. Would not stay anywhere else in Scarborough and will be back soon. A must try.

Amazing owners, food, location, atmosphere, food, rooms. Absolutely no need to look elsewhere! We were very well looked after for the duration of our stay. Our room was spotless and had fantastic views of the coast and the castle. We can’t wait to book another stay!
