Let me start by saying I knew the hotel is dated when the reservation was made. I booked two rooms when I arrived on site, the lobby was full of people standing around talking to the receptionist. I didn’t think that was a big deal at all, except we had to make her way through the people who were standing there speaking. When we checked in, they did not ask for my drivers license or any information to confirm it was me. We walked to the first room, open the door and saw that there was a bug on the pillowcase. I then mediately, check the sheets to find several more. We then proceeded to walk to the second room and check the sheets. none were present on the sheets or pillowcase. However, when removing the mattress pad cover, it was apparent that there was bugs. We saw at least 10 moving begs. I went back into the front office, but I had to make my way through the people again to speak to the receptionist. I tried to explain to the young lady what was going on with the bedbugs when she replied, I had to call the booking company. There was nothing she could do about it, I walked out the door and immediately called the booking company. The response back from the booking company is that I’m not getting my money back for the two hotel rooms that I didn’t even stand. Word to the wise. Do not stay here. Yes it’s dated but that’s no excuse for having bedbugs. This has been time and energy that I should not have to spend to get a refund for rooms I didn’t stay in due to bedbugs. DO NOT STAY HERE!
