Travellers Jungle Camp

Wow! We were a group of 7 (3 rooms, 2 families) and this place was amazing. Location is excellent. The staff was beyond exceptional. Unfortunately, our arrival was delayed due to a protest on the one (and only) road to get there, so we arrived very late (almost midnight). The staff waited up for us and was so gracious and kind. The rooms are simple, but clean and very comfortable. There was a rhino that walked through the complex every morning and breakfast was great. We did a morning river tour and an afternoon safari with the hotel and it was wonderful. The best part was myself and a family member chatting that we wanted to walk, not boat, across the river and the guide looking back at us shaking his head but not saying a word, then going back to the river the next day to see it absolutely line with crocodiles. (Tourists are ******.) They were such gracious and kind hosts. For the money, this place was a gem. Highly recommend!!

I visited with my partner and we booked the 2-night, 3-day package, which included all meals, entrance to the park, and the Tharu cultural show. Everything was wonderfully organized. The guides were incredibly friendly and dedicated—it’s clear they are truly passionate about nature and love what they do. The hotel itself is charming, made up of small bungalow-style buildings set in a lovely garden. Our stay was very comfortable; the staff helped us with everything and made us feel truly welcome. One unforgettable moment was watching a rhino walk past in the neighboring field at night—absolutely surreal! We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic experience surrounded by nature and warm hospitality. Communication was really fluid!!

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect, close to all the activity spots. The room was very comfortable, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of adventures. One of the most unique features of this hotel is the presence of their own two elephants, which was such an incredible experience to witness! Plus, I had the amazing opportunity to see a rhino roaming freely in the garden. If you're looking for a blend of comfort, convenience, and a unique wildlife experience, this hotel is definitely the place to stay. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This hotel is really exceptional: Staff and owner are very friendly, kind and helpful. My room and all hotel is very clean and wonderfully maintained. The hotel is a beautiful place with a garden, many trees. Located in the centre of Sauraha, on a very quiet, silent and safe place. Walk distance to the safari. A wild rhino gave us a suprise visit, it was amazing to see the wild rhino walking in the pathway of the hotel. Everything works well, hot water, free wifi, A/C, comfy bed. The staff helped us organize private tours and were super attentive when we were at the hotel.Walking a whole day and returning by car was the best experience. We saw 7 rhinos and many more animals. I will stay here again my next visit. Thank you

Travellers Jungle Camp is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting, surrounded by lush greenery and wildlife. The cottages were comfortable and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff at the camp were incredibly friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time. They were always available to answer any questions or concerns I had, and were happy to help with anything I needed. One of the highlights of my stay was the opportunity to go on a safari through Chitwan National Park. The guides were knowledgeable and provided a lot of interesting information about the park and its wildlife. We saw a variety of animals, including rhinos, crocodiles, and a wide range of bird species. It was a truly unforgettable experience. Overall, I highly recommend Travellers Jungle Camp to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable wildlife experience in Sauraha. The camp offers a great balance of comfort and adventure, and the location is perfect for exploring the surrounding area.

Beautiful garden on the hotel premises made me feel like in tropical paradise)) Extremely nice staff made our stay enjoyable and found solutions to all our requests. Special thanks to Mr Gopal for that. They also helped us to explore jungle with their experienced guide Som, who tells lots of interesting and funny information.
