La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mobile Satsuma / Saraland

Needs some help. Chose this hotel because of location. Was there for a funeral and it was near the town we were traveling to. The hotel was not comfortably clean. The wall was not clean and the carpet was old, warn and felt damp all the time. When we arrived at the room we noticed the desk chair had something all over it, not sure what it was. We immediately pushed the chair into the hall and notified the front desk. the next day there was a clean chair in the room. the hotel looks good on the outside but the inside needs some help. The breakfast on the first morning was non existent only a few pieces of bread so we went to the McDonalds down the road. the 2nd day the breakfast was better with susage and biscuits and some pastrys.

I liked the spacious and clean rooms. the front desk was confusing upon arrival for my booking. no WiFi or television access. the business room and the gym are both very unappealing and needs to be closed for the public.

The property was OK, but it was just like cleanliness and certain areas the room the bathroom, just the upkeep could’ve been a little bit better

Julie is great at what she does. She takes care of everyone. Hopefully management realizes what they have in her and goes above and beyond to take care of her; because that's what she does to keep her area moving forward.

had bugs crawling on the lamp shade, the place needs to be remolded or torn down. Breakfast was ok.

The lobby was inviting and clean. The room that we were given really ******. The walls were dirty, and the bathroom wall was cracked. The floors were dirty, and there were holes in the carpet the television nor the telephone worked. We had to move to another room, that was a suite, but it was equally just as dirty. The doors on the inside were dirty, and the carpet was past due for a cleaning. The telephone did not work in the Alternate room either. We have to call the front desk to get assistance with the television and the remote. The furniture was also dirty and old. The arms of the furniture was heavily soiled with dirt and we did not even want to sit on the furniture. We were told that the hotel was in the mist of upgrading items in each room. If that is the case, then they should not have book rooms that were not even up to normal hotel room standards. It was awful and I would never stay there again. Some type of concession should have been made. The Hotel Clerk thought that she was helping us by saying that she was putting us in a suite and it was equally dissatisfying and distasteful. The hotel should’ve been closed until the renovations were complete or at least the rooms that were not up to standards.
