Mermaid Cottage

Perfect Location for Sarasota Experience We have been coming to Sarasota for many years and have stayed in different locations around the city, including on the keys. The Mermaid Cottage was exactly what we have been looking for with close proximity to the beach, quiet neighborhood, and easy access to get around to other locations. The location just over the north bridge to Siesta Key was ideal and allows you to be on the beach in less that ten minutes from leaving the driveway. It is also close to Tamiami Trail and makes it easy to get to other beaches or restaurants. The unit was just as described, clean, and stocked with what guests need for the visit. This visit was just for my wife and me, but is setup to accommodate a family or two couples which allows plenty of privacy. We would not hesitate to stay at The Mermaid Cottage again and hope to find some openings on the schedule to do so.

Real Gem! Wonderful cozy yet spacious. Quiet little alley few steps away from the trolley stop. We did not realize how close and convenient it was until day three . Spent Easter holiday there and felt at home. Would definitely come back! Thank you!!

Beautiful Cottage This cottage was perfect for our stay. Beautifully decorated in a beach theme. It was in a great location close to everything we wanted to do. We had all the amenities that we needed. We will definitely be back! Absolutely loved it!

Christmas at the Mermaid Cottage I rented the cottage for my son and his family while they were in town for Christmas. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The house is immaculate and well furnished. The location is absolutely the best for activities at the beach or in Sarasota. I highly recommend the cottage and the host is very communicative and helpful.

Mermaid Cottage is a gem My brother and I visited my aunt in Sarasota. Mermaid Cottage was a perfect location. It’s in a lovely neighborhood and is close to both the airport and the beach. The cottage is very clean and well appointed. Our host was very responsive when we couldn’t figure out how to lock the front door! Overall just a great experience. We will be back! Thank you!

Awesome place to stay My parents and I were very happy with the house, especially my parents. They thanked me multiple times for choosing this home. Good amount of space in the common area, both living rooms and kitchen. In the bedrooms, they were very comfortable. The location was great since it's close to a lot of places and the beach. We didn't get to enjoy the house as much as we did because we came to visit family for Thanksgiving but if it wasn't for that we would of spent our Saturday evening watching college football in both living rooms. We are considering to come back to this house for the summer time with a few more people. Thank you so much for the stay and everything else.
