Love love love the vibes of the hotel. It is a modern and clean ryokan with comfortable bed and comforting scent in the hotel. Their parking is indoors and slightly more expensive than some outdoor public parking nearby.

Very lovely and zen hotel. Rooms are comfortable and space well thought out. Also love the public onsen, great after a long day of sight-seeing. Only downside is that the hotel is pretty far from Sapporo station.

Onsen Yuen Sapporo was an absolute highlight of my trip to Hokkaido. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calm, clean, and welcoming. The design blends modern comfort with traditional Japanese aesthetics, creating the perfect space to unwind. The baths themselves were incredible—immaculately maintained with a variety of options including indoor and outdoor rotenburo. The water quality was excellent and left my skin feeling soft and refreshed. I especially loved the open-air bath with snow gently falling around me—it felt like something out of a dream. The facilities are top-notch, including relaxing lounges, a well-stocked vending area, and a cozy restaurant with delicious local dishes. The staff were kind and attentive, even offering helpful tips for first-time visitors. Whether you’re a local looking for a quick escape or a traveler wanting to experience authentic Japanese relaxation, Onsen Yuen Sapporo is a must-visit. I left feeling completely rejuvenated and can’t wait to return!

The room is a bit too small but facilities in general is good. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and the laundry there was helpful for family travellers like us.

The onsen was amazing and the room that we stayed in was the corner room which gave an amazing view when it snowed!

First time in Sapporo and didn’t know where to stay. Glad I found this place because it was perfect on all levels. Location is walkable from Sapporo station but cabs are constantly around. As soon as you arrive you’re greeted with a sense of zen and it carried throughout our stay. Room size was good enough for us, very clean and it included all the basic necessities including robes for the Onsen. Overall building was very well maintained. The main feature is the Onsen and it didn’t disappoint. Multiple warm pools, sauna and a cold plunge. You even get ice cream afterwards. Didn’t get any breakfast or dinner so can’t comment on the food but highly recommend staying here. Would come back!
