Although there were some positive aspects, the negative experiences significantly overshadowed them. As someone who values cleanliness, especially when traveling with a child, I was extremely disappointed. The toilet was incredibly dirty, to the point where it was obvious it hadn't been scrubbed for a long time. The floor was covered in dust, making it impossible to walk barefoot, and the towels had visible stains. I reported these issues to the front desk, and they sent a cleaning staff to address the problem. However, when she arrived, she only wiped a few surfaces with a cloth. I checked the bathroom while she was still there and pointed out the dirty areas. There were hairs stuck to the glass, yellow and black stains on the walls, and even what appeared to be urine stains on the floor. When I asked if she had cleaned, she said yes, but it was clear that proper scrubbing and disinfecting were necessary. I had to insist that she scrub the toilet, and although she did so reluctantly and hastily, it was evident that she wasn't thorough. I understand that there are many rooms to clean each day, but that doesn't justify rushing such an important task. Even after scrubbing, the dirt was still visible, and she seemed to view me as a difficult guest rather than someone who expects basic hygiene standards. I’d be ok with the rooms having a fresh plain smell of nothing since not so many people enjoy the smell of diffusers, especially Asians, but for a claimed five-star hotel, it smelled like dust mixed with very old furniture and stuffy place. On the bright side, it wasn’t as crowded as I expected since it was during holidays. The breakfast was pretty decent but lacked options for non-pork eaters. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful, especially Lily.
