Fantastic Hotel for English Speaking Foreigners. This is one of the Best Hotels in Sanya. Unlike many Hotels Sanya Shengyi is a True 5 Star accommodation. The Location is absolutely Perfect right on the Beach pretty much in the centre of town. and also unlike other Hotels the rooms are exactly as described. The staff are amazing and friendly and helpful and the lady that did our room service was so helpful and friendly also. The Pool is great and the Lifeguards are such funny characters that we had to have photos with them. I highly recommend the 180 Degree Ocean view Rooms we spent so much time on the Balcony watching all the fun every day and night on the water front and in the Bay. we watched the light shows at night on Phonex Island from our balcony. The people who say you cant swim at the beach in town are wrong, this is not true. The only time swimming is not allowed at the beach here is during a Typhoon. All DiDi's are at most only 2 minutes away from this Hotel and this Hotel is perfectly located centrally to all Tourists sites and markets. We walked to so many shops and markets. On average most didi's charged us approx $3 Australian Dollars. We initially stayed at Dadonghai Beach area but did not like it as much as Sanya City as it is too expensive there and more Russian atmosphere than Chinese. In Sanya City the Chinese people were so friendly to us and very helpful. The food is also much better than at Dadonghai area and you get a taste of the real China. China is an amazing country so much better in every way than Australia. From our Hotel we had a easy Beach foreshore walk to watch the fishermen bring in their catches to sell to the Locals. My wife cried when we had to leave.

The beach is very close to the hotel, nice view. Good breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and clean, a little bit old already. There’s a bus stop and tram close to the hotel and a lot of restaurants with good prices close.

Good, very nice staff. The helped me with how I have to eat crab. And hot pot.

Convenient Store available beside lobby. Excellent Buffet at RMB198.

I had a great stay at this hotel overall. The location is fantastic, and the room was spacious with a beautiful sea view. The open-concept bathtub was also a great feature, especially for families with children. However, I did find the reception staff to be less friendly than expected, which was a bit of a letdown. Despite that, the positive aspects of the stay made for a pleasant experience, and I would still recommend the hotel for its great amenities and location.

Seaview room - sunset here 🥰, but too loud outside- from morning till evening u can here singers🙈 The beach is not clean close to the hotel - sand with grass. Room cleaning every day. The room is light and cool) Breakfast is very monotonous. If u come after 9 am, food variety 😐

Great location. The hotel is about 30 minutes by car from the airport. The Sanya Bay beach is a few minutes walk across the road from the hotel. There are many shops near the hotel and it’s a 10-minute walk from a supermarket. Also you can find a lot of (mostly local) restaurants around. The hotel itself has a nice restaurant where you can enjoy hot pot with a wide choice of fresh seafood. My room had an amazing sea view from the balcony. The seascape during the day, evening and night is different and it is just mesmerizing. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Sharon from the hotel’s front desk knows English well. She provided me with a quick service by WeChat during my stay at the hotel, which is important for me as a foreigner. The furniture in the room is not new, but it’s equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay there during a vacation. Throughout my stay at the hotel, the room was clean and tidy. The cleaning staff were very attentive and pleasant. Considering the above, my rating for this hotel is excellent! I highly recommend to choose a sea view room to completely enjoy your stay here :)

This hotel not for family. Smoke smell was very bad for kids. everything was very old. Location is good. But don't choose with kids.

Everything was okay besides the huge construction side next to the hotel which is ongoing almost 24/7. Therefore please avoid rooms facing that direction.

The construction noise was very loud.

Construction noise begins at 6.30am. Room was not 180degrees as advertised. Very average.

Some front staffs are not engaging and helpful because I cant speak Chinese. ( a guy in mid 30s) A young female staff are very helpful, we can comunicate via translator apps. The balcony of my room is facing side of the beach.

Clean hotel with nice view of ocean. Too much noise from the street.

Good experience. I would stay here again. The reception and cleaning staff were great and very professional. The pool looked pretty good and it's nice to hang out there. Well done.
