Terrible Hotel for English Speaking Foreigners. This Hotel is not 5 Star it is barely a 3 star. We Paid for Two weeks stay in a Deluxe Ocean View Queen room. The only view we got was a Very Ugly apartment block 50 feet away looking straight into our Room. No Ocean View at all !!! See pics. We complained about the terrible room but not offered another room.we then cancelled our second week and they refused to refund the deposit.. They are dishonest and tell lies. All the amenities they say they have are Lies. They do not have a restaurant it is in a Hotel up the Road. They do not have a cafe or a tourism or currency exchange, you are told to go to the Hotel up the road. They state they have 24 hours desk but it is not true. They also stated they do Airport pickup but refused to pick us up from the airport. The room is supposed to have a kitchen but there are no plates or cutlery and no glasses and no cooking pots etc. I have stayed in many 5 Star and this hotel is only 2 or 3 star at best as it has no amenities. If you want decent accommodation and a proper sea view better value at Shengyi Hotel at Sanya. It is a genuine 5 Star with much friendlier staff. We are very angry at being ripped off by Shanghai Haunting Boutique Hotel.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room has a full kitchen and grocery store close by. American, Italian and Russian restaurants all within short walking distance. Dolphin was exceptionally good. Swim coach was excellent with a good transition to coral reef snorkeling after a few pool sessions. Definitely try and travel outside official Chinese holidays as it can get very busy in the neighborhood

It’s a 5-8min walk to the beach depending on your walking speed. The car drop off is at one location but the actual hotel is across the street. Pretty views from our room and spacious enough for us as a family of 3.

I had such a great experience at this hotel in Sanya! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by all the spots you’d want to explore. The pool was super nice, perfect for chilling when you don’t feel like heading to the ocean. The best part? I got upgraded to a better room by the sweetest receptionist ever, Xiaojing 小静 (seriously, she’s the best!). The upgraded room had the most stunning beach view—I didn’t want to leave! If you’re looking for a spot with amazing vibes and top-notch service, this is it. Can’t wait to come back!

Don’t book breakfast, only instant coffee and instant juice. Location is very good.

Very good location. Average breakfast! Spacious hotel room.

Good hotel and service from the front desk. Just one grumpy guy over-cooking eggs for breakfast. All in all it was our second visit. Good size bathrooms with double showers!

Very nice we will go again

Good Hotel, though bay is about 7 min walk, seaview is not direct, actually this is mountain view. Also laundry room was either not available, or reception staff could not understand my request

We stayed in the apartment building at Baohong two times this summer. In August there was a receptionist there))) which we did not know and checked-in in the main building. The staff do not speak English at all, but that was no problem because everyone was congenial and used mobiles when they needed to explain something. The swimming pool really helped in August because swimming in the sea was prohibited half of our days.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel.Room service was offered everyday. Hotel is close to the beach and restaurants. The taxis are affordable  I highly recommend it

The hotel was in a great location near the main shopping streets and beach. The room was spacious and clean. The facilities were good except the WiFi and we couldn’t find where to plug in the fridge. Overall very good value for money.

2 years ago service and food where better, swimming pool water was very cold, next time I will prefer to go to the other hotel….
