The room is situated high above many other hotels and bnbs in Imerovigli and very close to double blue domes where you can capture some great pictures. We booked the cave room with a pool which I thought was pretty unique but my wife thought was quite claustrophobic. The room itself is very narrow but two stories. Our particular room was quite hidden from the views. We had a pool with a caldera view which adds quite a lot of value to Santorini hotels, however our view was also quite obstructed. The top floor room, though more expensive, has the best views of the caldera and blue domes. There are 2 different hosts for morning and afternoon, both were very friendly. Interestingly, Cilon Suites only has 5 rooms available to guests. 3 on the bottom, 2 on the top. One thing that I noticed other hotels did that Cilon didn’t though was that they helped bring our luggage from the car drop off to the hotel itself. In this case, we carried it all the way to the hotel and it’s quite difficult to find. Additionally, the hotel is not really for elderly or the accessible. Quite dangerous actually due to the incline and steep stairs. Overall, it’s a unique experience and we are glad we tried it out for the private pool.
