Thimari Lodge

We had the most marvelous time at Thimari Lodge making a lifetime of memories. Thank you so much for the warmth extended by Zoi , Kostas and Flora. Their staff was very attentive and their team surpassed all expectations in all the care extended. The location is supremely serene and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the caldera side. To be greeted with sumptuous breakfast and fresh juice every morning was icing on the cake. Very rarely does one come back full recharged after a vacation but this trip did just that and Thimari had a huge part to play in it. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay.

We chose to visit Thimari Lodge to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The communication from the moment we booked until the moment we left was superb. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a great bottle of wine, which went down a treat after our travels. Everything was thought of in our luxurious, hidden villa from a robe, slippers, fresh fruit, even a Nespresso coffee maker and having a private pool brought us so much happiness and relaxation. We were delighted to have a great breakfast brought to us every morning during our stay, and on our anniversary, we were pleasantly surprised with a delicious personalized large cake adorned with a '25' candle. One day, as my husband and I were walking back from the beach, Kostas offered us some Greek lemonade to help us feel refreshed. It was such a thoughtful gesture. Zoi recommended an incredible restaurant for our special day. Kostas recommended that we take a short walk to the beach to catch the delightful 6am sunrise. Throughout our stay, everyone was so warm and helpful. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always willing to go the extra mile. Thank you to the team at Thimari Lodge for making our stay wonderful. It was truly relaxing, and we enjoyed every moment of it.

Thimari Lodge is so much more than a place to sleep. Though the accommodations are amazing with the secluded villa, with private pool, a breathtaking view and unrivaled service. Upon arrival we were greeted by Costas and given possibly the best bottle of local roseé and fruit, it made the 10 hour flight more than worth it! Then, he gave us the contact of Zoe, incase we wanted any suggestions on restaurants or locations. We decided to take Zoe up on her offer for making us a reservation, and she was more than spot on! She got us a beautiful sunset dinner with front row seats and delicious food. After that we continued to text Zoe for all further plans and she not once disappointed! Beach front, cliff front, wander some paths up a mountain and find a charming spot, sunset cruise, every suggestion was amazing. We chose to rent a car for our stay which worked out wonderfully as Zoe scheduled us all over the island. Even after we left the villa and moved on to different islands she continued provide decadent beautiful recommendations for restaurants and sights to see, all as just part of their service for staying at their villa. Every morning we were greeted with a breakfast of our choosing at a time we requested, and every morning, just like Zoe, it was spot on! Alongside our requested meals of eggs, yogurt, etc they also brought freshly baked bread, juice and honey. The breakfast was always cooked wonderfully, and gave us the energy to take on the island. The villa is just steps away from a beautiful black rock beach, the water was so clear and calm it almost felt like a pool! All in all the experience in this villa was unmatched, and i cannot recommend it enough, definitely will return!

This is really special and amazing place to stay. It was so peaceful - and close to the beach. The villas are beautifully designed and furnished. There were welcome fruits and soft drinks.Our villa was cleaned really well each day and the pool was also cleaned each day. The breakfast was brought to the villa every morning and it was delicious and more than enough.Kostas is a great guy,extremely welcoming and well behaved.He is dropped us to main Fira town each and every day, which is a 7minute drive guiding us with our tour program for each day.They always msg us to make sure we are able to locate the right spots which we intend to see. As it is situated in outskirt of Fira main town so hiring a car is very much recommended.There’s parking outside the villas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Thimari Lodge and is highly recommended.

We were a family of 12 . We had a really great time . The service , the attention that the staff gave us . The owners really made sure we had a good experience . They even helped organize transportation and activities in Santorini
