Thimari Lodge

This place is absolutely amazing! The location, the rooms, the pool… all top notch! I would 100% stay here again and would 100% recommend the lodge to friends. We went as a group of 12, 6 adults and 6 kids between 11 and 8. Zoi and Kostas were super friendly and gracious hosts. I can’t say enough great things about our stay.

The Thimari lodge experience is one I would highly recommend. It’s a home away from home yet has the amenities of a hotel. The location is peaceful and serene and the owners Zoi and Kostas were amazing hosts. They were friendly, kind and always willing to assist with organising a tour, or recommending a local restaurant. Zoi even arranged a tour for us on our one day stop in Athens. Thank you Zoi and Kostas for making our vacation a truly amazing and memorable one.

Thimari Lodge was like nowhere we have ever stayed. The villas are large beautiful and spotless with everything of the highest quality. The hosts however are the difference in this magical place. Zoi was in Athens when we stayed for her daughter’s birthday but she was still on call 24/7 with lots of info and suggestions for our time in Santorini. She booked us into a local taverna for dinner with a few hours notice. Kostas was amazing too.We arrived when Santorini was experiencing shocking winds so we opted to have dinner at Yalos down from the property ( best meal we had our whole holiday) When we finished we were walking out and there was Kostas offering us a lift home.!! Little things like this were predominant the whole time during our stay. ( wine and fruit in fridge on arrival) The rest of the staff were all amazing. We found Santorini so busy but loved coming home to our little piece of paradise . I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if coming to Santorini.

Thimari Lodge is a credit to its owners . It was a beautiful villa both inside and outside. We were made welcome from the moment we arrived. Kostas brought wine which was badly needed as our luggage was delayed . They made enquiries for us with the airport to ensure our luggage was located and brought to the property the following day . Zoi booked Restuarants and gave us great advice where to go. I would recommend having a car if you are staying at this property. The property was spotless .Thanks to all who made our stay memorable.

We had the most marvelous time at Thimari Lodge making a lifetime of memories. Thank you so much for the warmth extended by Zoi , Kostas and Flora. Their staff was very attentive and their team surpassed all expectations in all the care extended. The location is supremely serene and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the caldera side. To be greeted with sumptuous breakfast and fresh juice every morning was icing on the cake. Very rarely does one come back full recharged after a vacation but this trip did just that and Thimari had a huge part to play in it. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay.

We chose to visit Thimari Lodge to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The communication from the moment we booked until the moment we left was superb. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a great bottle of wine, which went down a treat after our travels. Everything was thought of in our luxurious, hidden villa from a robe, slippers, fresh fruit, even a Nespresso coffee maker and having a private pool brought us so much happiness and relaxation. We were delighted to have a great breakfast brought to us every morning during our stay, and on our anniversary, we were pleasantly surprised with a delicious personalized large cake adorned with a '25' candle. One day, as my husband and I were walking back from the beach, Kostas offered us some Greek lemonade to help us feel refreshed. It was such a thoughtful gesture. Zoi recommended an incredible restaurant for our special day. Kostas recommended that we take a short walk to the beach to catch the delightful 6am sunrise. Throughout our stay, everyone was so warm and helpful. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always willing to go the extra mile. Thank you to the team at Thimari Lodge for making our stay wonderful. It was truly relaxing, and we enjoyed every moment of it.
