Thermes Luxury Villas and Spa

This is a very nice location. A short walk into Megalochori which is a very nice village with a few good restaurants. There is also a winery very close by. You have a private pool. There is also a spa though we did not use any of those services as we only stayed one night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean. The only reason it did not receive 5 stars is because there is a helicopter tour company next door and the helicopters take off and land many times throughout the day and are very disruptive.

We had ferry issues so we had to stay on the island an extra day. Our hotel couldnt accomadate us so we found availability here. Super nice staff, very private, and the personal pool is lovely. The only negative is the helicopter that takes off on tours multiple times thru the day.

I’m a tourist who hates tourists. So I like to be out of the hustle and bustle of the main tourist destinations but still able to get to them if my wife an d three kids deem in absolutely necessary. This resort is perfect for this. The villas are spacious and have their own pools with an uninterrupted view into the caldera. Breakfast is delivered straight to your patio and is an amazing mix of hot and cold, Greek and traditional bacon and eggs. Staff so friendly and helpful. Visit the local town (Megalachorie) for evening food and drinks within a 10 min walk. The busses pass the entrance and the stop is 5 mins up the hill. €1.80 to Thera and get a connecting bus from where this bus drops you up to Oia. Do not go to Oia in the evening as the crowds are crazy and unpleasant. Go first thing in the morning.

We had 26 attendees for my daughters wedding and rented out all the villas. Exceptional service, well appointed villas and breathtaking views! With careful planning and a focus on creating meaningful moments, Thermes staff and owner made our daughters wedding day such a beautiful celebration that will leave lasting impressions and treasured memories for a lifetime.

The villas are beautiful! Inside and out, everything has been perfectly though through and they want for nothing! Staff were so welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to help. I can't wait to go back but in the meantime...I could not recommend these more highly!

Diese Reise war ein Geschenk an meine Eltern zum Geburtstag und darum wurde darauf geachtet, dass das Hotel auch für ältere Menschen geeignet ist (was zb in Oia oder Firma auf Grund der vielen Treppen selten der Fall ist). Dieser Aspekt wurde auf jeden Fall erfüllt, da die kleinen Häuser nahezu barrierefrei sind.. Der Pool war schön und gepflegt.. Das Frühstück reichhaltig und schmackhaft... Die Lage ist perfekt und der Ausblick wunderschön, auch auf den Sonnenuntergang... Warum dann nur 3 von 5 Punkten? Wegen der immensen Lärmbelästigung durch das angrenzende ‚helipad‘ - auf dem die Hubschrauber den ganzen Tag ein und ausfliegen und auch teilweise die Maschinen 10-20 Minuten durchgehend laufen lassen und das jeden Tag ca 20-30 mal (Touristen Rundflüge starten hier wohl). Und weil an zwei Abenden ohne Information durch das Hotel Management bis spät in die Nacht Hochzeit gefeiert wurde- das ist ansich ja kein Problem, aber auf keinen Fall selbstverständlich. Da müsste vom Haus alles besser organisiert werden. Darum alles gut, aber anscheinend muss man sich auf ein bisschen Krach ab und zu einstellen...
