Stayed in one of the tent ‘rooms’. I knew it was going to be hot, but it was BOILING in there, and I can’t say I slept well at all the entire stay, combined with the fact that the music from the bar went on loudly until 4am. There was one tiny fan in the ‘room’, but it was pretty ineffectual and took up the only plug socket (charge your phone OR have the fan on). The room is also not ‘shaded’, as the tent fabric is translucent. It’s basically a hotbox. The ‘room’ was not serviced for our entire stay (1 week). Bugs came in through the gaps between the tent and the floor. This being said, the facilities (pool, toilets, shower, clothes washing station, luggage lockers) were brilliant, as well as clean. The location was also amazing- an easy walk into Fira, which can’t be taken for granted on an island with poor public transport and a lack of taxis. Basically, we cheaped out with this place, and while the facilities and location are good, prioritise air con and cleanliness if you want to sleep and relax.
