Tenuta Fagnanetto

If you are looking for a bespoke intimate stay at an 18th century noble house, look no further. Vigne di Fagnano 1709 would be the place for you. Set on the beautiful hills of Langhe Piemonte, we had the perfect two nights’ stay travelling all the way from Singapore. The property was carefully restored keeping the charm of history with a mix of modern comfort and luxury. All the produce we had during our stay was home grown and curated by our lovely host Carlo and Manila. Would highly recommend this unique property if you visit the Santo Stefano Belbo area.

We were a party of 6 couples. Seasoned, happy travelers that have rented Villas throughout Europe. This was first post pandemic trip last summer (2022). Piedmont area was a great area to tour wineries and small towns. This VRBO however, was very disappointing in all ways. - facility is TOTALLY rundown. a family of three and a farmer occupy rooms at the residence. - no contact with owner or local manager until an hour before departure. - studio type kitchenette seats 4. Small refrigerator, microwave, tiny stovetop. - pool filthy. outdoor grilling area. - main kitchen and dining/bar room were close off. There are apparently no funds to maintain this once proper bed and breakfast. Recommend renting in nearby Canelli. It's twice as big as Santo Stephano and offers more dining and shopping opportunities.

Tra le colline di Langhe e Monferrato si trova Vigne di Fagnano, una residenza storica del 700 magistralmente restaurata con materiali e arredi antichi. Un ritorno al passato con il comfort del presente, tutto molto armonioso Manila e Carlo sanno accogliere gli ospiti con garbo ed eleganza. Carlo è una fonte di preziose informazioni utili a scoprire il territorio sia dal punto di vista paesaggistico che storico che culturale che gastronomico. Ci ha fatto visitare le splendide cantine della struttura che devono ancora essere restaurate. La colazione è abbondante e soprattutto all’insegna dello “spreco zero” tutto fresco e fatto al momento. Il paesaggio visto da qui è mozzafiato. Con i colori dell’autunno una magia. Bellissimo il giardino. Spero di tornarci presto
