Hotel ligt gunstig, dichtbij strand en station. Kamers zijn wat gedateerd. Restaurant is uitstekend, wij hebben voortreffelijk gegeten, zowel ontbijt, lunch als diner. Wifi deed het niet op de kamer. Tv zenders zat voor ons niets bij.

Unfortunately this hotel is is serious need of investment. Our room was extremely basic, the air conditioning was ineffective, the shower was all rusty and bath panel damaged and it was missing a bedside table. We requested another room and was told there was not a single room free, which we find hard to believe. We was told someone would bring up a bedside table; on our day of leaving the table had still not turned up. The evening entertainment was appalling, there was just a DJ inside, no outside space for any entertainment. The restaurant is inadequate in terms of size to cope with the demand. There are over 200 rooms in this hotel with only one main area to get food from, unlike in other hotels where there are different stations. We was queuing 20 minutes on one night to get to the main hot food/meat section. There was only 12 serving plates with hot food which is not a great variety, considering the size and star rating of this hotel. Maid service was poor, on 3 days our room was not cleaned. The maid knocked on at 9am asking to clean our room, to which I asked her to come back later, and she never did. The drinks selection for an all inclusive is terrible, there are 3 cocktails included in the all-inclusive. If you want Malibu and coke for example or any decent spirit with coke/lemonade, you have to pay extra. For a 4 star hotel this should not be the case. The pool floor is dirty and we did not see the pool get cleaned at any point of our holiday or testing the water throughout the day. The area around the pool is slimy and slippery and again this was not cleaned at any point during our visit. Every time we woke up, we had bites on the back of our legs and arms, there were flies around the pool area but the amount of bites potentially from flies would not have matched how many times we were bitten. I believe this is the condition of the mattress. We went in the last week of August running over into the first week of September. On the 1st September, construction works started outside the hotel at 8am, which was never advertised and were we made aware of prior to staying. This was a great view from our balcony plus great to listen to in the morning! There was heavy rain on one of the nights, and one of the lift shafts flooded, as well as the restaurant and gym. This suggests the lack of maintenance to the building which caused these areas to get flooded. Overall, this hotel has the potential to be good, as family have stayed at this hotel in previous years and it clearly has declined. It gets a lot of sun being on the end of the strip but it needs serious investment throughout to bring it up to an attractive standard for holidaymakers. In no way can this hotel claim to be 4 stars, given its current state.

We arrived at this hotel to a reception full of police and a very drunk man. The lady on reception was so lovely I think she could tell I was immediately questioning my decision to stay 🤦‍♀️ we got to our room which was bigger than I expected but very dated, the whole room , bathroom and balcony need some serious attention! Our first full day we were really surprised by the breakfast, staff were welcoming and there were so many things to choose from all fresh so I was surprised. ‼️‼️‼️‼️There are parts of this hotel that can only be described as DANGEROUS and a HEALTH HAZARD! I took my son in the pool and we both nearly drowned had my husband not have noticed and jumped in! We were bobbing as we always do, I was unaware of the drop in the pool and how deep it is and we both went under… When I had eventually calmed down I noticed that the life guard ( a very young man) was sat under an umbrella near the entertainment enjoying himself. I was furious and distraught at this point went to the reception and demanded to see the manager. I was hysterical and given the situation think he was abit surprised I explained about the lifeguard and what happened he said he would come out. The lifeguard was still sat under the umbrella, I was furious after being told he was told to sit there where the umbrella was. I think after realising and after I said the pool wasn’t safe he offered to change the lifeguard and I accepted. ⚠️THIS POOL AREA HAS NO LIFEGUARD STATION, POOR SIGNS TO SHOW HOW DEEP THE POOL ACTUALLY IS AND ONE RESCUE RING ON THE FLOOR BEHIND A PLANT POT! ⚠️ I really feel that this needs to be improved we witnessed 2 other incidents at the pool where someone went under in the 4 days we were there. I have to say after the incident the manager was very visible, he come to ask how things were, checked myself and my son were ok. The staff here are all very pleasant but are let down by the state of this hotel! The entertainment was terrible and we actually went to other hotels on a night time! I hope anyone considering staying here with children looks through the reviews and I really hope the Hotel make some VERY important safety improvements to keep up to standards

Terrible hotel. Nothing like on the website. The hotel place is in need of renovation, rooms are shabby, paper thin walls can hear everything from all the other rooms, the ‘ gym ‘ had wires hanging down holes in the ceiling, dust everywhere. Unusable. Kids room the same. Pool the best part. Would not recommend we are trying to book somewhere else instead of stay here. Awful
