Sun Beach

Stopped here for 4 nights at the beginning of March, hotel nice and clean and in a great location. Staff were all pleasant throughout our stay. Only downside was that we arrived a little early in the season and majority of places were closed! Would definitely return albeit later in the season once everywhere is open.

Brilliant hotel, lovely big room with kitchenette. Very central location. Used the local buses a lot going to Palma, Magaluf and Valldemossa, brilliant service. Lots of praise for Marta who was amazing. She checked us in and always stopped us to see how we were getting on. She is a real asset to the hotel. Would definitely stay here again xxxx

From check in to departure it is not possible to say anything negative about this hotel. Every member of staff from management to cleaners were polite and helpful in the extreme. Hotel perfectly positioned overlooking the beach and sea. Many, many bars and restaurants right outside the doors. If you turn left you hit party town, not our cup of tea but many appeared to be enjoying it. Turn right for quieter bars and eateries of which there are many. We had a 7th floor apartment which was plenty big enough for us. A decent lounge diner with kitchen area, fully equipped for self catering. Large bedroom with huge bed plentiful wardrobe space for all. Modern bathroom which was immaculate. Outside the door a private patio with sunbeds and outdoor furniture meant you did not have to move if you did not want. Bedding and towels changed every other day and cleaners were fastidious. Pool area and sun deck with plentiful loungers for all. Pool bar run by the lovely Michelle was well priced and very comfortably furnished. Very good supermarket within 100M meant self catering was very easy. A special shout out for the brilliant Marta who remembers everything and nothing is too much trouble.

We have stayed here several times,and the location is perfect for most shops,bars,and restaurants,and mainly that the beach is just a few minutes walk away,Marta our receptionist who checked us in,is an asset to the sun beach,she is professional but also displays excellent people skills,we found her always pleasant and informative,went above and beyond her job description,and the reason is because she genuinely loves her job and it shows..Sunburger and Bloody Mary’s are now taken over by the hotel and located at the entrance,both have good food options,and when you show your room keycard entitles you to 10%discount.We will definitely return next year.

Lovely hotel, close to some lovely bars and restaurants. Rooms lovely and modern. Pool bar was ok, soda machine had too much syrup. Pool is good, wish had steps rather than a ladder.Would stay again, minor niggles but not worth writing the place off.

Had a week here September 24 , check in was fine and staff very friendly and helpful Paid for a safe €5 deposit and €2 a day to hire ( usually free now in most hotels) we also paid and hired beach towels which were ok Pleasantly surprised by the nice big room, aircon in both the living area and bedroom, decent tv with all the basic English channels , standard apartment kitchen, kettle, toaster, microwave etc, nice balcony with a good view….so far so good. The lift situation is quite strange, we were on the 6th floor and had to get 3 lifts to our room, we were surrounded by noisy guests on both sides and above which wasn’t good at all, but apparently the noisy guests were removed from the hotel and it settled down. The beds were as bad as any we have ever slept in , poor mattress and ill fitting sheets. The pool area is a decent size and plenty of beds but all looked a bit grubby and not very welcoming, the hotel is in prime location for the beach, bars , restaurants etc, to summarise it was ok but we would not stay here again or return to Santa Ponsa
