Apartamentos Casa Vida

The apartments are well appointed in Santa Ponsa just a short walk from the bay and restaurants. I was welcomed by the night manager who was very helpful. The apartment was clean and well equipped. I have no issues with the 'front of house' experience. But, I question the company's ability to rationalise a dispute fairly. I was there for 2 nights only, visiting for a special occasion. When I returned from eating after a long day I was locked out of my room and the night manager couldn't gain access with his pass key. He kindly arranged another room for me but all my belongings were locked in the other room. I was due to be picked up the following morning for a trip into Palma, but missed the opportunity as I had to stay to wait for my belongings. They had to break into the room to access my stuff. The company's view towards my compensation was that they gave me another room so that's all they were prepared to offer, well I should hope they did give me another room I'd paid for it. I can't be bothered to take this any further to be honest, but be mindful if you're staying here and you have medication in your room, for example.

This is a lovely little well maintained complex. The “reception” is a bit redundant but the complex and pool area are immaculate. My main reason for the review is to praise the lifeguard at the pool. Dominique is strict on what is and isn’t allowed, no inflatables, bombing etc and is vigilant in enforcing the rules. In our opinion this makes it a far more enjoyable experience for everyone as it’s a small pool. She does this it has to be said in the face of some completely unacceptable behaviour from in our experience 4 boys, both last year and this year, same kids who are allowed to run amok by their parents who try to undermine the lifeguard at every turn. She does it politely despite one of the dads being aggresive and vowing to have her sacked, he really doesn’t didnt notice everyone left the pool when they came down. In 2 weeks we witnessed Dominique jump in on 2 separate occasions to pull a struggling child out because they were unsupervised. Yes she’s strict but for the vast majority of people there she makes it a far more pleasant experience, we’re Team Dominique and will return again

Stayed for 5 nights new year break On arrival we were meet by Alberto who checked us in and told us about the facilities in the apartment On entering apartment was clean tidy and plenty of room Large shower and a comfy bed Basic cooking facilities but restaurants were open not as many as the summer but enough for the time we were there A free car park at the back of the building but a steep driveway to navigate on foot but you can also park outside if there’s a space Would definitely go back
