Fergus Style Cala Blanca Suites

Pro’s Staff helpful and friendly; nothing was too much trouble and reception staff went the extra mile. Room clean, tidy and spacious; cleaned daily. Breathtaking views of sunset from pool bar. Plenty of sun-beds. Restaurant was ok with themed nights. Entertainment in evening was varied. Con’s Would have been nice to have drinks in fridge in room replenished. Limited choice of all inclusive drinks. Food in restaurant didn’t really match the daily themes (no curry or naan bread on Indian night, no beef lasagne or beef spaghetti bol for Italian night).

My wife, daughter and I stopped here for five nights. During that time we had the most amazing stay. The hotel is situated right by the sea. As long as you don't mind a rocky beach, which is only 15 steps from the hotel!! The rooms were very clean and had everything you could need for your stay. The staff were always friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was fantastic with so much choice on the buffet. (Don't think about any diets there!!) Would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great hotel especially with young children. Thank you.

Enjoying our stay here at Fergus Suites. Hotel, Staff and food is great. Not exceptionally busy which suits us fine. No idea what the family h have been smoking with their two reviews but they must have been staying somewhere else. Management have been nothing other that totally professional at all times.

The hotel itself is lovely and clean. The staff are awesome - especially the entertainment/kids teams. The mini disco was ok and the evening entertainment was well….. they worked with what they had. I could see the effort had been made but the team had very little to work with. Kids computer club was fab but the kids day was a bit pants. It was a tiny playground with a hut…. They didn’t leave it or do much sadly so the kids decided to just stay with us. The food was much better than expected. It was the normal holiday all you can eat - great salad and fresh bread selection. The buffet staff were great fun and they always made the kids laugh. TUI reps were really helpful and recommended Katmandu in Magaluf. We went and it was fab! Only 12 euro in the taxi and £100 for a family of 4. Was a great day. The pools were abit small and very cold (no fault of the hotel) so we went walking quite a bit. Good spot and location with lots of good views. Bad bits- the cleaners only cleaned out rooms twice and on both occasions the window and patio doors were left wide open (we were on the bottom floor so someone could have easily come in and stole our passports/tablets/phones etc). They only tidied our beds and put new towels in - didn’t clean the floor or anything. Our 4 year old got stuck in the automatic doors - yes, actually stuck! He stopped in the door to put a sticker on and the doors closed on him, they didn’t stop either, we literally had to pull them off him. The TUI rep saw this. The pull out/sofa beds were really uncomfy. The pull out one was the worst though so struggled to get much sleep, it was not helped by the very loud air conditioner (which we set to heater but it still blew cold). Whilst a majority of the stuff was good, the cleaners, beds and my kid getting stuck in the door were really bad.

We have 23-month-old twins which were in a double pushchair The big lift which would have been accessible for the dubble pushchair was out of order for the whole holiday . Which meant for us every time we wanted to go to the room we had to hold one baby in each arm collapsed a double pushchair and my two trips in the smaller lift we aslo have a 6 year old .Making it stressful and not straightforward imagine waking sleeping babies on an evening massive performance every night to get to our room I did complain about this . Raw chicken in the restaurant again I did report this . Bar staff are lovely very happy kids club are all so really nice . Definitely not a 4 star a max 3 star . Would not come back was disappointed felt like they should’ve offered a more accessible room which I didn’t need a Lift for in my opinion . Big let down .

The hotel rooms appear to echo noise through, but they are very clean. On the last night there was a strong smell of terps or paint thinner from the bathroom which kept us up. Had to keep the patio doors open all night. Reception dismissed it as just a ‘heat’ smell.
