We spent three nights at the Sant'Andrea and can highly recommend. The hotel is charming and comfortable, not to mention convenient to walking around. Easy to find and get to, and has offsite (paid) parking which we used. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and comfortable and the breakfast is really great and plentiful. What was really standout for us though, was the team that works there. They were absolutely brilliant- friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating. They really went above and beyond to make us feel like really valued guests. One young man in particular, whose name I've now forgotten was really exceptional. But everyone else was also wonderful and it made being in the hotel all the more pleasant. Would definitely come back and recommend.

This is an incredible boutique hotel. It’s located around a 5 minute walk to the coast and in a quieter location. We booked a junior suite which had a separate dressing room. It was lovely and clean. I was hoping we would have a balcony but I think the deluxe rooms have these so I’d recommend you check this out if you’re looking to book. The breakfasts are incredible with bread baskets, pancakes, cold meats and cheese, scrambled eggs etc. You can also pay extra for some items. The staff here are really friendly and gave us a really warm welcome. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved this boutique hotel near Portofino! The staff provided amazing service, the breakfast had a lot of options & was delicious, the rooms were very nice, quiet & clean. Highly recommend this hotel and staying in Santa Margherita Ligure over Portofino. It is a beautiful coastal spot with lots to see that is more affordable than Portofino (everything seemed 75% more). I can’t wait to return

Absolutely a fabulous 6 day stay at Hotel Sant’Andrea! A truly perfect boutique hotel experience, something hard to find these days. The rooms and grounds were lovely. Breakfast and the outdoor dining in the garden were fabulous, but what truly makes this hotel so wonderful is the staff! Emanuele, Viviana, Bruno and the amazing kitchen staff made every morning special. We will definitely return to this gem. Grazie Mille!!!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for eight nights. The entire grounds are gorgeous. It is a small boutique hotel which adds to the charm! No elevator, which we were fine with (only 3 stories). The property is well manicured with lush gardens. Our favorite part of each day was waking up and having breakfast in the garden, which is included with your stay. I highly recommend the farm fresh yogurt, and sweet croissants. What is made this stay even more enjoyable is the team here. Everyone has been kind and accommodating. Emanuela who works the front desk went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay! Giving us advice on places to visit and checking in to make sure we didn't need anything. If you're going to be staying in the area I would highly recommend this hotel!

Nice little property. Probably should have caught it…Biggest issue no elevator and although they say they have AC it doesn’t start until June 1st. Tough property for seniors with luggage. Also agent on arrival is quite unfriendly. I sense she feels she is doing us a favor to check us in.

This is a lovely hotel. Is in a neighbourhood that’s quieter than the piazza and main areas. The front desk staff are very professional, helpful and offer great recommendations. The breakfast was a very nice surprise, it didn’t feel like a basic (breastfast included) experience, more like a little restaurant where you are served. Our room is so beautiful!

The most lovely boutique hotel! Opt for the breakfast package--it is AMAZING! Meat plate and cheese plate and eggs and croissants and focaccia and fruit...and and and....!!! Breakfast is served either in the lovely garden or inside--both beautiful options. The garden is so inviting--perfect place to relax after a long day in the sun with a little wine bar--Oh how I miss you Bruno!!!! The room was wonderful with big fluffy pillows and a comfy bed, the staff was amazing...can't say enough good things about our stay. If you need an elevator, stay someplace else. If you want a true taste of Italian luxury, this is the place for you!

We can’t recommend this hotel. It has a very dated interior and NO elevator. You are expected to get your own luggage up to your room. Ours was on floor 2 which is 3 flights up. We were traveling for 3 weeks so we had plenty of luggage so for seniors traveling it is not manageable. The manager? (A middle aged woman) was not at all welcoming to our group. She was very rigid and inflexible. There are no coffee pots in the rooms and all we wanted was to go down and get a cup in the am. She stopped us and said we needed to call for room service. The dining room is very small, about 5 tables for 2, and while there is also an outside patio, when it is raining or cool, we needed to wait for others to finish just to get that first cup of Joe. Not the experience we expected. On the positive side, the location is excellent to all attractions and walkable. The rest of the staff, particularly the housekeeper and kitchen, was particularly accommodating. Not somewhere I’d ever return or recommend to friends.
